Friendly staff, great service. Best deep dish around hands down. Nice selection of beers. Don't be afraid to build your own deep dish. Note the deep dish does take 45 minutes to cook so be prepared! First time at this location and we really enjoy ourselves. We were promptly greeted when we walk in and a server sat us at our table. They have a great selection of food to choose from for a Pizzeria an it all look very good. We choose a deep dish pizza and two Chicken Phillies with a salad or potatoes. We were told ahead of time that the deep dishes took 45 minutes from order to table, which was greatly appreciated. We received our food piping out an on time. Everything was fantastic and worth waiting for and I do mean everything. The server and customer service was great as well nd they check back with us throughout the meal. Thanks
Not what I expected, almost everyone says it's a 10/10 or 5 stars but it might just be me but it tasted absolutely trash. Even Chuck-e-Cheese had better pizza. Came for Chicago Style, tried one bite, left with compleatly empty stomach. 50 dollars for that? Way, way, way, WAY too over priced. Sure my family thought it was good. A person with no experience making a pizza could make it better. It was so bad Taco-Bell could make a better pizza, World War 2 MRE's tastes better. My dead dad could cook better! Videogame pizza looks better. Sure the employee were nice, but it tasted way too undercooked. Never never never eating here again! 2 stars.
Was excited for some deep dish but after waiting 40 minutes for it to cook I was sadly disappointed... This is truly a bad pizza. At first I thought the crust was pretty good but after eating more I was left with nothing good to say. The cheese was pulley at first and then turn almost Play-Doh like quickly. Seemed to be very cheap cheese doesn't look like normal pizza or mozzarella cheese The rest of the filling was FLAVORLESS. Probably the worst pizza I've ever eaten.
The pizza here indeed is worthy of the awards. It's feels quite fresh, great taste and the crust is nice as well. It's just slightly different from Chicago pizzas in the sense that they seem a little bit more juicy and this seems to have a touch of Detroit style deep dish too. From now on this will be one of my favorite pizza places in the metro Detroit area, I am just bummer I didn't try it before
Used to love this place but haven’t been there for a few years. Today, the very expensive pizza was dreadful. If you looked under the pie, the crust was crisp and dark brown. However, under the toppings, there was a thick layer of raw yes, RAW DOUGH, not just under baked!. The crust tasted like pie crust rather than pizza crust. The sauce had a strong herbal taint too much oregano? that was unexpected and not pleasant. The meat on our meat pizza was scarce. Prices are excessively high and due to the style of the pizza, wait time is long. If the budget “Little Caesar’s” pizza was offered to our party as a comparative option, the budget pizza would easily win. If you like PizzaPapalis, keep going. If you have not tried them, be ready for VERY high pizza cost for mediocre quality pizza. Perhaps something has changed in the last few years since I used to love them, but NEVER will I pay their very high prices again. Just be forewarned, it will cost a lot and is simply not worth it for mediocre quality.
Excellent pizza joint. We were there with friends and ordered three different types of pizza. My husband got thin crust pepperoni and really liked it. I got Greektown Detroit style, and it was amazing. The others got a Chicago style pizza. One friend commented that the Chicago style was in his top five pizzas of all time. Definitely would recommend this place!
First time visiting here. Came for a surprise party. We had a nice room in the back area. The staff was remarkable. They were friendly and present in every way. Food was delicious. Their dressings for salad need to be mentioned. Plan on coming back here again. Yum Parking: Parking lot was well lit with alot of spots.
Pizza crust was super dry, taste was like cardboard, eaten here a few times and it's the same each time. Waitress was nice but overall service was slow, atmosphere was like a dead 55+ diner - no audible music and the seats were the most uncomfortable seats I've ever sat on. You're not missing anything if you pass on this restaurantFood: 1/5
First time eating here. The deep dish pizza and bread sticks were delicious!!! Will dine here again and/or order takeout. Recommend this pizzeria. No complaints only compliments.
