This place was recommended to me for Christmas because I work extremely a lot and didn't have time to prepare a meal from scratch. I ordered the Cajun turkey, ribs, macaroni and cheese, smashed sweet potatoes, scalloped potatoes, loaded mashed potatoes, string bean casserole, a pecan pie and a carrot cake. To my surprise everything was extremely good. Of course the mac and cheese won't be like what you're probably used to but it's doable. The carrot cake was decent, definitely not the best I ever had. Their cream cheese was more on the mild side with it not being too sweet which works for some people. The Cajun turkey had taste throughout. I baked mine for 3 hours instead of what the instructions said and it came out perfectly fine. I put the ribs in the oven in a cast iron skillet and those were immaculate. This place was so good that I would probably come here to eat whenever I don't feel like cooking just in general. Thanks honey baked ham place I I'm very pleased with your food. I wish I could have taken a picture of everything before we tore it up! Also if you are feeding four or more people I would go with extra sides. I had one of everything for three people and we were able to get seconds.
Th service was great but when I opened my $65 ham to heat it up, I was so upset to see my ham was burnt to a crisp. I spent way more than I normally would have for a ham and was so disappointed at how it looked. This ham should of never been packaged for consumption, let alone have some one pay $65 for it.
Ham was purchased from Dearborn Heights MI store which when you dial number you get Taylor, MI store. Well my $97 ham had a BIG GRAY spot on it. The young lady Maria tell me bring it back to them.. i drive out there she says i need receipt, why would i have kept receipt, i left my name and number i want to Post pictures I want to go on record stating that I spoke to Travis on Monday afternoon and he suggested i come in and i was compensated for the unfortunate experience with my Ham… Thank you Travis for a better customer experience
Picked up my Christmas ham and it is completely black like it's been in a house fire. Called and was told to get a new one I'd have to wait in the hour long line again. Terrible customer service and not a quality ham $80 dollars later.
2nd year in a row not buying honey baked ham for Thanksgiving and Xmas. They wont allow you to look at the ham to see how much fat is on it. They used to show you 2 or 3 hams so you could see which one had the least fat and choose. Until they allow us to look at them, I will no longer be a customer.
The ham was good. I would not say it is any better than a Meijer ham at least not substantially. Dearborn market is my preferred. It was good, the staff was quite short in temperament and a touch rude. It could have been a bad day. I will probably come back though. I came back a year later and they had a 1/4 ham which was much better suited for my family size. This time the staff edwardo was super kind and helpful.
Had a quarter ham for Christmas dinner,it was delicious, Definitely worth it
Purchased 1/2 ham for Easter at the Taylor store. It was terrible. The ham was flat, about 2-3 inches high. I have never seen a flat ham. Not only was it flat, but was black on top from being burnt. No candy honey on ham at all. No one could swallow it unless you took a drink of something to get it down because it was so dry! The worse ham I have ever had. Shame on the Taylor store for selling this ham. They charged me $58.00 and I had to throw it away as no one could eat it. I will never go back to this store . Everyone at the table was laughing so hard to see a flat burnt ham and could not believe they would sell such a bad ham.

You pay more, but work less! Pre-cooked, pre-sliced,pre glazed smoked or roasted turkey, most flavor by far , vs. fat/carbs, cinnamon apples tasty side option as well as cheesy potatoes; corn; stuffing; broccoli, etc. Did you know they sell sandwiches, too?!!
