Plainfield Animal Hospital is a full-service veterinary hospital. We have cared for dogs, cats, and exotic pets in the Plainfields and surrounding Central New Jersey communities since 1952.

Went in for Dr. Neumann to assess what was going on with a skin disorder my dog was having, and she was very thorough and nice. First of all, Dr. Neumann herself came out to greet us and bring us back. What a great, personal and welcoming touch for the animal and owner. Also, she listened to all of our concerns and made recommendations based on what we were willing to do and have our 17-year-old dog go through. Prices are what's to be expected for services. I would highly recommend. Wish I had come here years ago.

Friendly staff, Robert was so professional and caring over the phone as I made my appointment. I did not have to wait long to be seen. Clean spacious office. Doctor Shekk was extremely thorough and took the time to explain any issue she saw.  She even taught me how to feel for a lump on my dog's belly. I am happy i came here when my dog was having an emergency as it gave me peace of mind.  The check out procedure was quick too.

Took a guinea pig here on short notice after he appeared to have skin irritation that was worsening. Called about 20 places frantically. Vet was knowledgable, nice and thorough. Went through possibilities with us and answered our questions. Treatment worked!

Have used Plainfield Animal Hospital as our vet since the 80's.  Highly recommend them. I've always found them to be professional, informative, friendly and compassionate.

Great place. Been going there for years. Always a great experience with knowledgeable doctors. Friendly staff at the front desk. Clean facilitie with modern technology. I highly recommend taking your animal here. FYI I had a chinchilla, but they could not see him. They do not service exotic pets. So if you have an animal out of the norm. I would call first.
