No longer is PF Southfield my "home" gym, as I have moved in the last few yrs, but the remodel is very nice compared to when I last was a regular here. I still come here on occasion when visiting family, and I do enjoy the upgraded facility, and large spacious location compared to my current local home PF. 

The stretching area and core area now have separate adjoining rooms, compared to the uncomfortably small open area once before. For someone who routinely is in these areas, I like the more private feel and positioning compared to before which was out in the open. Everything seems to be refreshed since I was last a regular here from equipment, locker rooms and massage areas. It looks really clean and compared to a few years ago a definite upgrade!

As for staff, I have never had any issues. I was a regular member here for almost 5 yrs and during that time it was smooth. I am in the area now once every few months, and some of the staff from before I recognize but regardless the current staff whenever I have visited has been polite.

I go there multiple times a week. Workers are helpful and nice. Locker rooms are clean and the tanning is stand up only which I prefer the beds but I have a tan so clearly they're just fine. Works for me!

One of the best, if not the best PF locations I have been to. I still go here from time to time even though I moved away.

My home Planet Fitness is Wayne, MI, however, I realized this one is around the corner from my job so I decided to stop in.  Ok facility - some equipment is outdated compared to other facilities I have been to.   IF YOU ALSO WANT GOOD CUSTOMER SERVICE - GO SOMEWHERE ELSE.  I experienced two instances where the staff was rude to me two nights in a row.  Not sure if I even want to go back.  Even had one of the girls knocking on the door after my tanning session as I was getting dressed (even though I placed the "in service" sign on the door).  :0(  smh

Nice facilities, good staffing all the time and always kept clean. Only con is most of the cardio machines don't have access to the audio or TV and the only phone that can be charged through them is an iPhone 4!
