Way nicer than the last gym I was a member at! People are nice about asking if you are done using equipment. Locker room is spotless at all times of the day. Staff is great.

Called yesterday at 6pm to inquire about a membership.  My gym just closed.  I was told the one time fee was $5.  I thought they were just giving pricing daily, odd yes, but whatever, I am not familiar with Planet Fitness.  I was not aware that was promotional pricing.  Called today, 9AM, as I had intended to sign up, workout and  wanted to make sure I had everything I needed.  I was told the start fee is now $30(ish).  It’s a matter of principle.  Can’t do it.  The gentleman on the phone said there was nothing he could do, and speaking to management would not help. Best I could do was to check back after this “promotional period” ends.  I would imagine this is not his fault but frustrating nonetheless.  I will continue my search for a local gym.

At first I was skeptical because of other reviews, but I really really like this gym. It's smaller than other PF, however I love that. It wasn't too crowded. The parking lot isn't kill or be killed like the Dearborn location. Would be 5 stars but the weekend hours sucks! Almost make you want to give it 3 stars.

I love planet fitness because it's clean the staff is friendly and they have the basics of what u need to get a good workout in. The only thing i hate is that it closes at 11p during the week and 7p on weekends. One more thing, Planet Fitness advertises itself as a judgement free zone but you have a lunk alarm that goes off when someone grunts or drops a weight isn't that considered judging. Did you ever think that you may be hurting someone's progression because they're scared to try to push themselves because they don't want to be embarrassed by a lunk alarm.

I really like this location. Its smaller but rarely over-crowded. Security is a big plus too! Meijer is located in the same lot along with other stores so its very convenient.
