I was told not to drop the weight deadlifting. 😂😂😂😂. I instantly looked around as if camera was going to come out, but it didn't. So I started thinking am I in planet fitness, but I will never be in planet fitness. Like I will never be back there. I had high hopes for that place. No more🖕🖕🖕🖕👎👎👎👎👎

Clean and Friendly Facility. Staff is helpful and works hard to keep the place up. Glad I belong here.

I visited this gym every morning for 4 days while in Detroit for business a month or two ago... Definitely worth the price of the 7-day pass. I wish more gyms offered a full offering of weight training equipment.  People come ready to train and that motivation rubbed off on me and I was able to get some solid workouts in as a result.  Staff and other members were all genuinely interested in fitness and training. It could use some new bikes and dumbbells... but that was the only negative observation.  

This is a traditional gym with lots of weight training equipment... it doesn't pretend to cater to the cross-fit crowd.  That's probably a good thing from looking at all the cross-fit fail videos on YouTube.   I'll be back the next time I'm working in the area.

Good enough to get the job done. Is everything bright and shiny and new like Planet Fitness, hell no but nor is it suppose to be. You do not come to the Powerhouse gym for all of that, you come to get a good workout in and that's what happens at this gym people are working out and getting fit. There are not a lot of cardio machines and they do not have the newest most updated equipment but if you want to strength train or get in some basic cardio this place will do.  The price is affordable almost $40 for one month $100 for 3 months so...
