This is one of the last Schvitz’s in the country.  This compares with the old sauna in Chicago,New York or Miami.   I mean it has great heat in the sauna. I have gone for 30 years.

best thing i do for myself week over week. take some heat and check out detroit's most interesting experience. no way you'll go just once.

Great Vibe, Atmosphere was AWESOME.  Staff/owners beyond Friendly- totally engaged, they have Created an environment that is relaxing,social and very welcoming.  The building is an absolute gem that will take you back in time, this place is Detroit history preserved.  The Owner are definitely supporting a culture that is something special, they spoke of their future plans too, i'm looking forward to seeing this place evolve. Unfortunately I didn't get to try the food, but there is always next time.

The new renovations are amazing, quite the upgrade from my last visit. Owner was super friendly and accommodating, great place to end the week in the steam room and cold pool.
