After working out here I love it! Place is clean and the air is cool to the point of freezing you out. Which is great in a place that big. The staff is nice. Greets you as you come in and as you leave. Free tshirt is a nice touch also. The only thing is after signing up you have to go in person to get your black card and shirt. They also take a picture of you. Otherwise you do your own thing. Focusing on the muscles you need to. Start light if you have never worked out before. A week or two to get your body adjusted. You get what you pay for. If you know what you're doing, this place is a great bargain. But it is the equivalent to family dollar for gyms. There are plenty of aerobic machines, but it's nearly impossible to get a spot with the free weights. There are no personal trainers (The one guy that runs around like a crazy person trying to cover the entire place is nice, but can't possibly handle the volume), and the staff is apathetic at best. Go here if you're comfortable with your routine and just need a place. Otherwise, stop being cheap and pay a little extra for a smaller gym with more service.

Good price for a workout. Staff...not the most knowledgeable, interested in their job or kind. I had to ask for a tour, which should be part of protocol. I had to ask how to use unfamiliar equipment and not told to follow the symbols/signs on the machines. Because a tour is not provided, many members are using the circuit rooms as their personal workout rooms and not following the 30second green/red light switch off and give attitude to those of us who want a full work out. When mentioned to staff; they shrugged their shoulders and said for me to wait when it was less busy or crowded. NO! Respect and rules should be followed. I got more information from the stranger on the treadmill next to me as I was not aware of the combo lockers on the wall or the abduction machines in the stretch room. One really shouldn't be left to FIGURE things out on their own. They do not check for the Black Card royalties as many $10 a month payers are getting massages, tans, and so on. But hey, at least I get a hydro massage, when I'm not in line behind a yellow card member. If Alex is management, he needs more training - because he does not care!!!! So please don't tell me to speak with management. There should be a corporate visit and a new hire training. The staff could at least smile and greet you - that would be helpful!

well... I only gave it 5 stars to give a rating and put my piece of mind on here. I've never been to a planet fitness but was thinking about joining. yet so many mixed reviews it's hard to decide whether I want to join or not. I haven't worked out in awhile so I'd need some assistance not just following what the machine says. Guess I'll look around...

Staff not interested in their job. When I went to sign up seemed like they tried to avoid me. Also was told to put my draw string backpack away by one of the staff. It seems like if your friends with them then the "rules" don't apply to you because someone else had a bag like mine but was friends with staff working out right next to me... I mind my own business and don't bother a soul in the gym. Make the "rules" apply to everyone not just a select few.
