We are all about being fashion savvy and shopping smart. We specialize in gently used clothes and accessories for teen and twenty something girls and guys.

Don't waste your time here. They don't even go through your clothes. I brought all high end street wear and they took four items. For only 20 dollars. Please go somewhere else. Don't waste your time.

Good clothes at a good price. They don't do a good job cleaning their shoes but they often don't know what they have. Ive gotten a pair of fives there for $40. Overall pretty good

Plato's used to be one of my favorite stores for a while, especially this location since it was moved from the Springfield shopping center. I don't know what happened in the past year, but the staff is awful. The girls are especially catty, rude, and I've witnessed them not even go through bags and then claim they couldn't take anything. How would you know if you didn't even look? I got this treatment a few days ago and have been a repeat customer and seller there in the past. I don't understand the pretentious, snarky attitude given by a majority of the staff when they work for a secondhand shop. I've heard they supposedly offer 30% of what the sale price would be, so expect to sell fast if you wanna get low balled. I don't usually expect more than $12 for multiple items. I was once offered $12 for American apparel shorts that were brand new and retailed for $64. That's less than 30%. The prices for the items to buy are usually overpriced for the quality of the items so that's become another gripe of mine for Plato's, especially this location. It's lower and lower quality items for more money. A customer shouldn't be paying upwards of $10 charlotte russe chiffon tops... that's what you'd likely buy in person at the actual store. The one girl is especially bitter because I asked for another pen to sign with last time I was there because the one she gave me was empty, and there weren't any others I could find. Really girl? Is it that deep? I used to love this place, but the unwelcoming, customer-unfriendly environment created by the inept staff, lowball offers and overpriced used items are making me not come back. Do better.

Ive had nothing but bad experiences when coming here. I work in customer service and let me just say you need to retrain your staffs customer service skills because its extremely lacking. The girls practically rolled their eyes when me and my friend came in with our bags of clothing. They didnt even look inside my friends bag, and then proceeded to tell her they didnt want anything. How could they have possibly have known that without looking? Another time i was in this location i was trying on clothing, and thankfully before i try things on i check them, and in the crotch of the pants i had grabbed was crusty white discharge!!! So they arent checking the clothes for cleanlyness either. Their clothing is overpriced and they dont pay their customers fairly either (thats if theyre even willing to take your clothes in the first place). There's a reason they only have 3 stars.
