Plato's Closet® is all about being fashion savvy and shopping smart. We specialize in gently used clothes and accessories for teen and twenty something girls and guys. All stores are independently owned franchises.

At Plato's Closet® you'll find a huge selection of trendy, designer styles as well as those every day basics you can't live without - all at up to 70% off mall retail prices!

Our stores buy and sell girls sizes 0/1 to 15/16 and guys size 28 to 38 waist. The gently used clothing and accessories that we buy are: top-name brands, cool, hip, trendy, and clean. Typically we buy items that have been in the retail stores within the past 12 to 18 months.

Our process is quick and easy:

1. Go through your overflowing closet
2. Bring in your cool stuff
3. Walk out with new cool stuff or $$$ in your pocket!

This is an amazing store...For women and men as well. All varieties of brand name clothing and accessories. You can find anything you're looking for at a price for anyone's budget. Buy, sell, or trade items for store credit. Gently used, almost New merchandise. If you're willing to spend the time looking for certain items, or don't know what you are looking for...You might be surprised by what you find just browsing around. Also, every 6 months be sure to catch the super sales. Usually after Christmas and the end of summer, they offer even more sales then on the regular. Neat little affordable store with all shapes, sizes, colors, and products to hunt through.

I’m surprised by how little plus size clothing they have in the store. I figured me being a plus size fashion blogger and they not having many plus size clothes it would be a win-win for both. So, I went to sell stuff and told me that things that were still online by the original manufacturer were out of date but took stuff that were out of date. What the employees are going to do is pay for the clothes that sell fast so they can get a cut. All that shop there are probably teens and college students who don’t have that much money. All they wanted was my cheap clothes. And the cheap ones sell fast because teens and college students want the cheap clothing because they don’t have much money spend in the first place. So that’s why all I saw was target and old navy clothes. I guess the real reason they don’t have many plus size clothes is because they don’t want plus size clothes because word has gotten around that they don’t have good plus size clothes. So us plus size girls don’t shop there that much.

Just donate your clothes, don’t bother trying to sell them here. Had a bag a name-brand clothes all in good/great condition, but they bought nothing saying they don’t take stuff older than 2016 and that stuff was too worn. I literally wore most of the stuff 2-3 times tops, or never at all, so don’t tell me they’re “too worn”, and as for stuff older than 2016–who cares?! Oh right, because jeans, tank tops, and button-up shirts have changed so drastically in the past 2 years 🙄

Waist of time. Even if your items are in mint condition they wont accept them because they discriminate on items more than a year old and are targeting to purchase a certain trend of fashion. They pick through items you bring for cash, and investigate them as if doing a sanitation inspection but they are not checking for laundering, they are checking how old the clothes are while they ask you to shop around the very highly cluttered store. The store is over packed with items, most of which is very highly overpriced for being used clothing, pricing in cases as you would find in a store sellong the same thing brand new, as to the reason why i think they use such a high discrimination policy when they are white gloving the items you bring in for cash, as the will offer the lowest of the lowest dollar for. Was a complete wasted trip of fuel. Not a normal used clothing store. Wont be going back to a place like this...

My first visit to Plato's closet. I really liked it. It is a bit pricey for used stuff but they have good quality items.
