I was coming in to apply for a personal loan. The staff was welcoming but as soon as I walked in it smelled like fried food I sat on the side to see if a different customer would show up before making an appointment as I was told. Then I noticed the girl was actually eating fries out of the desk drawer. She then used the computer, her hands were recognizably greasy and she took my information to make an appointment. She was complaining how she was tired from the day. It was just a weird and unprofessional environment. Okay this is update on 12/16/2017: I went there to deposit money and checks. I admit I was a dummy and didn’t look at the time they actually opened. It was 8:40am and they open at 9 but the main counter lady just kept looking at me saying we open at 9, 9, 9 in a super slow verbal motion. It was rude af. If you work in customer service try to be a little respectful. Some people are a little out of it or forget to check things. I’ve dealt with people not paying attention too. Unfortunately it’s a common mistake but you don’t have to act all rude about it. Worst customer service ever.

Never had to walk a teller through their job of finding an account before to make a large cash deposit. Business working with PNC for over 10 years and the teller kept trying to hand the deposit back to me. Response I received from Steven "nothing" "nope". Pretty piss poor in my opinion, hardly registers as customer service the responses, but I was really surprised by a bank employee attempting to give a deposit back to a client rather than perform the main function of a bank and deposit it. Finally I was able to inform him that an address search would net us the correct account. I was right. Sorely disappointed.
