Pocono Manor Resort & Spa– known to local residents as “The Grand Lady of the Mountains” – has earned a coveted designation on the National Registry of Historic Places. Quaint little place, perfect for weekend getaways from NYC. Great night rates and packages. Save a little by going out for your meals. Had the breakfast buffet one morning. Food was good, but four adults and two children resulted in a higher than expected bill for the day's first meal. There aren't a great many options for food outside of the resort, only a few, but they are there. Got a Philly from the bar, good money. Gym, game room (pool tables need work) and arcade available. Indoor pool is cool. BB gun shooting, archery available for a pretty good price. Petting zoo for the kids. Golf, fishing in the summer, ice skating when the pond freezes, Check it out, good fun, but don't expect the Ritz. This is a nice cozy place.

This place takes me back to another time and place. It is so beautiful, so quaint. There's  many things to do and see. The ambiance is one of comfort and relaxation. The staff is warm and friendly, the restaurants in-house a plus. I recommend it and will be back.

Such a great place, that classic style. Elegant and refined with a touch of class and sophistication. The Lamplighter Lounge restaurant / bar has the same elegant feel and style. Thank you Amy S. for being one of the most helpful and sweet bartenders I've ever met.

The movie room uses chairs that makes one want to stand. All the while they have completely empty rooms with perfectly comfortable chairs. Enough on that. The children run wild throughout the property which makes the experience very challenging, to say the least. The rooms are adequate but nothing to write home about. On the other hand the property is well situated.

Loved our stay! Excellent service. Facilities are a little dated, but overall very good. Beautiful area, great amenities. Spa services are expensive, so we didn't get anything from there. Breakfast was amazing!
