Been coming here since 1995 and it's a great place to get away for a week. They offer many activities for the little ones. Arcade is passable but can be improved. Swimming pool and hot tub is nice to relax. Gym and sauna is great. Reason why I'm rating this 4/5 is there needs to be several costly repairs including the parking lot with several pot holes at the entrance and the elevator that barely works needs to be drastically replaced. Need to push/slam in the elevator door just to get it to automatically close and operate correctly. I find that a safety issue in my opinion. The room we were in had leaky windows so cold air was coming through. I don't know what happened to them getting all replaced a few years ago. Staff is very friendly and helpful, and housekeeping does a good job at keeping the place clean.

I've stayed in a ton of hotels in my life.... And this place honestly blew me away. 24hr pool. Game room. The staff are very accommodating. Amazing place.

We love it here! Close to all area attractions, friendly, helpful staff and you can't beat the heated pool open 24 hours.

It would be a zero if I could. The loud music from the bar that can be heard word for word and beat for beat in my outdated room. The paper thin walls that allow me to hear the party two rooms down. The front desk female staff that couldn't even smile or make a phone call shouldn't work in customer service, we heard how rude she was to a guest on the phone too. I stayed at the manor two years ago and I regret every penny I "saved" by being at the Carriage. The only nice thing I can say is the bartender/server at Speakeasy was extremely amazing but since the female front desk person made it clear they are not affiliated with the house I won't waste too much time. Oh, and the pizzeria they recommended took over an hour and a half (45 minute wait) to deliver and couldn't even offer an "I'm sorry." Also don't believe the free internet as I use my data plan to type this because the Wi-Fi was unavailable most of the stay.

We have been coming here for years. They gave made significant upgrades. The one thing that brings the rating down is the Speak Easy pub. If you have room over this horrendous place, do not expect to get to sleep until they close. The majority of the clientele in the pub appear to be locals. So they don't care about Carriage House guests. The obnoxiously loud music on Friday night played until after 1 a.m. We are timeshare owners here. But will probably never come back here again.
