If you are not interested in spending thousands of dollars and plan on spending every day outside exploring the city then this is phenomenal. Clean, small and compact. I got the private toilet queen room so I do not know how my experience would have been had I got the shared-bathroom option but overall this is quite possibly the only option for logical people spending a short amount of time in NY. Great area. Friendly staff. Book early or the prices will become Marriott prices and it’ll be pointless.

Excellent hotel, perfect for a few days break in the city. Very clean and comfortable with every you would require. Great location, helpful staff and you can book your shuttle and leave your bags there on the last day. Avoid the new bar next door. Very expensive for a ‘happy hour’ and they don’t accept coins?! Which is very strange considering they can still charge to the cent and chase you for full service charge even though the service is mediocre at best.

The location is very convenient. The accommodations are very minimum, like a hostel with private rooms, which, for the money isn't a bad thing. It loses points with me on the mattress and pillows. This hotel sells itself as a place for adventurous travelers who want to explore more than stay in their hotel, people who really only need a place you sleep. If that's the case, they shouldn't be using hard mattresses and super flat, uncomfortable pillows. It is a plus that they have rooms with windows that open, as hotel rooms are often full of stuffy, recycled air.

My husband and I stayed here while we were on our weekend getaway, and really enjoyed it. It was perfect for what we needed. I'm in-between "it's ok" (3 stars) and " liked it" (4 stars) The pros: it was close to where we wanted to be, priced fairly. The bathroom was bigger then we expected which was nice. The cons: I personally didn't care for the sink as water got everywhere so as a result we didn't keep anything on the counter. Two of the days we were there we didn't have hot water, when we called down to the front desk they let us know that the boiler was being reset or something was just wrong with it. Our room was an "adjoining" room so we had a shared door what I didn't care for was, we could see the light shinning in from the other room, to help mitigate the problem we put a towel under the door. We could also hear what the other guests were doing (and they were awake when we were sleeping). We realized that there was only one door between us unlike in other hotels were both rooms have their own door, and we did worry if they could get access into our room as our side it was just a deadbolt type of lock.

Cute hotel, we booked same day and got there earlier than the check-in time. They allowed us to check in early which was incredibly convenient and allowed for a smoother transition for our stay and plans. They have a garden and a rooftop which were cute. The room we booked was very small but they have a lot of options to choose from which is nice. We also were able to do a late check-out and they held our luggage for us until we were ready to head home. Interesting hotel concept, I'd say it's a mixture between a hostel (shared bathrooms available) and a luxury hotel (attention to detail and amenities). Overall good stay, no complaints.
