Oops, I stayed at Pod-39 Times Square, not this Pod. However, I'm sure they are very similar and Pod Times Square is awesome! Following are my comments concerning Pod 39 Times Square. Great, very clean, budget hotel and 5-minute walk to Times Square! Staff was very friendly--just awesome! Very small clean room, so if all you really want is a modern/clean place to sleep in an awesome location at a very budget price, Pod 39 can't be beat! Very small room, so if you're looking for a plush room with lots of space, Pod-39 is NOT for you.

Word to the wise - return of your security deposit is not a priority! Pay them cash and demand it back before you leave. I’m very close to contacting my card provider as 21 days later it still has not been returned. I do not want to be providing the working capital for your hotel!! The rooms in this hotel are very small - the main issue is the glass bathroom. If you’re in the sort of relationship where listening to your loved ones vowel movements accompanied by a silhouette this is the place for you!!

If anyone is looking for great deals on hotels go to HotelRaven. com Booked a room on there and they had the best rates around... Pretty good bang for your buck, considering the location. I think it was around $100/night during January? The pod is modern and sleek, intended the maximize the tiny space. With us spending most of the day out exploring, all I need is a hot shower and a bed to crash on. Be aware that the shower is a clear glass box, with a wide strip of frosted glass where your body would be.

I selected this hotel as a way to save money on a recent trip to NYC. I was very excited about booking a bunk room for me and my stepdaughter. When we arrived, I was told that there weren't anymore bunk rooms available. The front desk agent handled the situation with good customer service. While the room is absolutely no frills, the stay was enjoyable and offered a good place to sleep at night. I very much enjoyed the location and would consider staying here again. Hopefully in a bunk room!
