I am sorry to say,but my experience dealing with a receptionist was very disappointing. She was very irritable on the verge of being rude. I expected a lot more class from someone,who represents this beautiful country.

We were surprised by the willing to help A very nice lady name Yulia was very helpful with helping us filling a lot of papers and we managed to finish what we came for quite fast.

Very poor service, the personnel not available, speaking to a living person demands either a certain degree of deviousness ("diplomacy"?) or brutish persistence. HOWEVER, once one gets through that wall, the staff is helpful and provides meaningful information. Had I to rate the staff and their performance, they would get five stars. Regrettably, since I am rating the Legation of the Republic of Poland, it merits one star only: the Poles seem not to have grasped the fact that good service assures good PR, and the latter helps in being "the darling of the masses.."

After a bad start, the personnel went out of their way to assist us. Good communication will minimize your frustration as the whole application process is now electronic. Thank you Beate for the way that you have assisted to make a very important journey to Poland possible.

Stay away unless you have no choice. Ocean of RED TAPE, 20 forms to fill out for the easiest matter,with clerk ladies rolling their eyes for every question. Or sending you to the website that is not any better or has dead links instead. PRL still alive and well. Will take you half a day for the same process it takes 25 minutes in US Passport office. Kafka could not come up with a better play scenario...
