We stayed in the Kingfisher 1 this weekend and had a great time. The cabin was cozy, clean and private. The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed to cook a few meals, there was plenty of firewood to keep the stove warm and plenty of hot water for the jacuzzi. Judy and Steve were both so gracious. We'll no doubt be back!

We booked the Hummingbird suite for spring break 2018. The pictures online were deceiving. The room was an old garage apartment with outdated décor and bugs, dead flies, and flying wasps that probably cam from the heating system. The pillows had saliva stains. The room was cold. The Jacuzzi tub was in the bedroom with no privacy. There was a shower curtain but the room was exposed to the kitchen. There were no doors, only shutter style closet doors to the toilet and on one side of room. I did not get an opportunity to express my dissatisfaction to the owner because her hired help Julie ran interference and made excuses for the flies like, "damn flies, country living at its best". Then they charged me the $20 cancellation fee. I did not want my daughter in this environment. We checked into the Best Western, a much better choice. Do not stay here, its not even worth the free night they give you. There are several nice hotels in town.

The experience we received at Pond Mountain was wonderful! The atmosphere was so cozy and romantic! You felt at home as soon as you walked in the door. We were married there and everyone made it a truly intimate and memorable experience. Having been married before we wanted something private, intimate and romantic and they had everything perfect! From the accommodations to the ceremony they made it very easy with no stress of planning at all! The entire event was most memorable and we plan on coming back again for many anniversaries to come!

Great place with Friendly people..We will be back..Cabins were clean comfortable and felt like home away from home.... Went a Second time here recently and stayed in a A frame Cabin and it was Not as pleasurable as The first time..Although would Return..

We stayed at Pond Mountain on March 10-11. Met my sister and her husband from Minn. We had a great time. We stayed in the main house-loved the rooms, the jacuzzi, we slept well, was quiet and peaceful. We did a little hiking, The ponds were beautiful. Judy and Steve answered all our questions and were very helpful. I would recommend staying here anytime.Thank you, we will be back.
