Super relaxed and comfortable atmosphere. Order at the counter and then they delivery the food quite promptly, even on a busy lunch hour. Muffalettas are hearty and amazing, the quarter size is more than enough for the average person's appetite. I had the shrimp Po boy and my husband had the cat fish and potato salad. We shared an order of boudin egg rolls. Everything was amazing. We had never had the boudin before and it was delicious.
Fsst & Fresh Service, however parking is a challenge. FOOD WAS AWESOME & HOT & DELICIOUS. FAIR PRICES. RECEIVED LARGE PORTIONS. Parking: Need to enlarge parking lot space..Many people are pulling up front door. Get out and go inside to pickup take out orders..thus blocking an already difficult situation to find parking. Many people park at Rouses, which is across the street. Fair prices. Large portions, delicious food. Well worth the challenge to try to park & dine in

I ordered the Mac and cheese with breaded pork chops. Let me tell you this place never disappoints. Food, service, and prices are excellent. Love me some Pontchartrain Po-Boy.
Amazing! We are in Louisiana until Texas opens back up and stopped in for lunch. The service was extremely friendly, the portions were huge and delicious does not begin to hit on how good the food was! We left with enough leftovers to cover dinner and we are all hurting we are so full! Definitely worth a stop!
I've been here 2 times. The first time it was spot on. Delicious, HUGE shrimp poboys. Perfectly seasoned breading, super crispy, well dressed. The second time I went, the shrimp was fried right, but there was zero seasoning in the breading. I'm only in the area once or twice a year so I can't say if it's always inconsistent.Food: 3/5
Good is excellent. A little price for me on a set budget but consistently delicious. Walk in order pay and get a number. Choose your own table. Self service for drinks silverware napkins etc. Food is brought to your table quickly hot and excellent. Daily specials. Large portions. Highly recommended.Food: 5/5
Pontchartrain has probably one of the best burgers I've tasted on the Northshore in a long while. Service is good, seeing as you really only deal with the the front counter when you place your order and the waiter/waitress when the deliver your order. I kind of like being able to get up and grab my own refills and such. they onion rings are next level good! Not to mention the burgers and onion rings keep very well if you have leftovers and want to eat them later as a snack!
Good Louisiana food. The Mac and cheese wasn't a favorite for the kids. A large will easily feed two, even three kids. The portions are a lot bigger than you think. Which is a great problem! Fried pickles and roast beef po boy were my favorites.
