Food is good, but this location has recently started applying credit card surcharges on almost all orders paid with a card. Some of the employees also don't know the Popeyes menu very well as they claimed they didn't do the 'dinner' variation of the standard meals (which is the same as a combo but without the drink, and is slightly cheaper). It's a standard item on the register even though it's not on the overhead displays, and I heard another customer ordering a dinner from the manager a few minutes later with no problems.

I love Popeyes food, but won't be visiting this location again.

My cashier was so friendly and patient, but this darn Popeye's is always dirty and ALWAYS hot!

A typically delicious Popeyes experience. And for neophytes, Popeye's famous Cajun spice chicken can be had without the spice there are shrimp and side dishes like red beans and rice, spicy green beans and mashed potatoes with gravy. Some people just come for the yummy biscuits which I understand make for good comfort food.

This is one of the best Popeyes.
Fries are sometimes a hit or miss but the chicken is always good.

There's never a line at this particular Popeyes. No one between you and your chicken. Bliss. On a late night biscuit run, the desolate stretch of Rockville Pike outside makes you feel like a noir detective; jaded and grisly, but satisfied by the little things- like chicken. Go with your white friends and switch your spicy food with theirs if they get up to go to the restroom for a good laugh. Godspeed.
