We hired a crew of 4 movers from Potomac Moving company to move my family from town-home to single family home. 
They have arrived promptly within specified time window, were very careful to write down all of our instructions and requests. They used rug runners to protect floors in both homes as well as blankets to protects entrance doors and frames. The crew took their time to carefully protect each piece of furniture in blankets, followed by tape with plastic wrap. They packed everything very well into 26' truck so no items were damaged in transit.  In the new home they helped us to setup beds in bedrooms and ensured all furniture was placed in locations we specified. They even helped us to attach felt pads on all heavy pieces upstairs to make sure we could slide furniture later on hardwood without scratching the floors. Overall, we were very happy with their crew, they were reliable, courteous and careful during the entire move. The pricing was also very reasonable.

I moved on Tuesday (from NOVA to Richmond) and couldn’t be happier with Potomac Moving Company! When I initially emailed, I received a spot-on estimate (no hidden fees or extra costs) and scheduling my move was easy! I couldn’t believe how accurate they were. Jeff was great and worked with me and my father (who helped me since I moved 2 hours away). They called 30 minutes before they arrived and once they showed up, they didn’t stop working! They were extremely efficient, pleasant and really took the time to wrap my furniture so it would not get dinged or scratched. Jeff sent me an invoice (for taxes and work) the same day as my move. I highly recommend them if you want a stress free, worry free and easy moving experience!

Jeff and his crew have done an excellent job.  They were responsive, flexible, careful, and helpful.  The pricing was very reasonable.  I am very satisfied with the work they have done.

This was an outstanding experience of unloading a 27 foot trailer which had my belongings packed over five days. Three fellows from Potomac movers  unloaded the truck in an extremely efficient manner, without breakage and placed items exactly where I wanted them to be.

I've moved a lot over the last 30 years,  so I was quite impressed by Potomac movers work. They all received by thanks and my recommendation. This moving company did a great job and deserves your business.

Jeff and his team work fast and very flexible! Jeff is always there to answer all my questions from the first time I contacted him to the day of the big move. I recommend Potomac moving company! Thank you Jeff and team!
