I love Prana Yoga! Christy is the best!!

The place is really nice and super peaceful. Christy, the owner is a sweetheart and so is her sister, April. If you are looking for a really nice atmosphere to do yoga in, this is the place. Oh and the yoga fusion class with Michelle Radley is a lot of fun.

As soon as I walk in, I feel relaxed and the tension quickly leaves me. I do mixed level classes with Kristy, who is amazing, and truly enjoy it. The center is neat, clean and inviting. Highly recommend it.

It’s been a few years since I’ve taken any succession of yoga classes and after attending a few of Prana’s special events and a recent workshop – I professed to myself that I would “clear my calendar” – I have, and am now in one of Prana’s beginner classes.   I’ll dare call myself a “regular” – but Prana makes you feel you are part of their union – just like in yoga when there is a union occurring between your mind, body and spirit.   

Bravo to Nancy Moran-Mermelstein, owner of Prana Yoga Center.  This studio is worth the trip – it’s obvious when you enter the studio that the owner’s goal was to create something special and offer it to her students. Prana backs this up by employing very attentive and knowledgeable instructors who will leave you feeling wonderfully invigorating and energized while still making me feel very much at peace.  Om.

We just went to Prana Yoga to try a class one week before Christmas. We are new to the area and when we arrived we noticed they had a new client special, 3 classes for $35. The classes must be taken within a two week period, still this is a great deal. We wanted to try this but next week being Chrtismas we will be out of town for at least 1 week of the two weeks and they were closed 3 days of that week as well. We asked if we could A) Pay $20 for the one time class and sign up for the beginners package after Christmas or B) Sign up that night and have a slight extension due to Christmas being in the middle of the two week time frame. Both were rejected. The person working said we should just wait until after Christmas to sign up so we were basically turned away and ended up not taking yoga at all tonight. Just not sure why they were so un-accomodating with two new beginners, particularly with the holiday schedule.
