I always prefer to go to family owned businesses, and Praylea's did not fall short of my expectations. They were extremely friendly and knowledgable, did not pressure me what so ever, and helped me get into a vehicle I loved and gave me a extended warranty. Not only that, but they paid for a new windshield! The prices are right, no hidden fees, just the price you see is what you pay. Couldn't have asked for a better experience, thank you Praylea's!

I bought a Subaru Outback from Prayleas in June.  Yes I bought it AS IS, Yes I DENIED the WARRANTY and Yes it is always a RISK to buy a Used Car!  Yet, no one thinks that after buying a car from a shop that it will catch on FIRE after hardly driving it at all!

I had a very sketchy intuition about the purchase and wish I would've listened to it.  I had put less than 500 miles on it when it overheated and caught on FIRE!!  I was also 8 1/2 months pregnant at the time, stranded on the highway, with no cell phone service!  After 3 months of a nightmare insurance debacle and a newborn baby later, it was declared that the new engine I needed would not be covered by insurance because the faulty engine in the Outback is what caused the fire in the first place.  They were surprised that I even made it the 500 miles without the car catching on fire.  I am very lucky to have not been injured nor to have gone into early labor on the side of the highway from the amount of stress as my car was in flames.  3 months and $4000 later I got my Outback back.

I thought about taking them to court because it was unsafe for anyone to drive off their lot, but I bought it AS IS.  This entire thing has been a horrible experience!!  I WOULD NOT recommend buying a car from Prayleas.  If you do find yourself on their lot because the price is right, please please please take the car to a mechanic you trust before buying it!  I live in Crested Butte, so this was something I was unable to do at the time.

I reached out to Zach at Prayleas about all of this before posting a review.  He was sorry that this happened to me and wished I'd contacted him earlier in order to help me.  I replied with a receipt of all the expenses I had to put into the car as soon as I got everything fixed.  He never responded again.  Please Look elsewhere so you do not find yourself in a similar predicament as myself.

I purchased a new suv this February, my background is professional auto technician so I went over the vehicle with a fine tooth comb so to speak. being satisfied with my inspection i bought the vehicle. The next day i noticed a large oil spot in my driveway. I had it diagnosed as a transfer case actuator seal that was leaking. the trick here is that the part cannot be purchased without buying a 1200$ actuator and then 16+ hours of labor to remove the transfer case, completely disassemble it, replace the "o" ring and actuator, put it back together and re-install it into the vehicle. 

Being a single father I was disappointed in this finding as it would be approximately 3200$ to repair what I thought was a leak-free vehicle. My best guess is that instead of repairing the leak when the vehicle went through the reconditioning process, that it was instead cleaned off to appear as though the vehicle was in good condition. I did inquire as to getting assistance to pay for a portion of the bill and was told they did not have a fund set up to help owners with after the fact repair. I was instead given contact information for a shop owner in pueblo CO whom I  was told could repair my vehicle for much cheaper than the dealership. However I did not feel as though it was a satisfactory suggestion, and proceeded to have it repaired at the Toyota dealer here in the springs where a factory trained technician could do the work.

My suggestion to future buyers would be to borrow the vehicle for 24-48 hours prior to buying to make any issues that aren't noticed at first more apparent by the time your borrowing period is over to ensure any hidden flaws are caught before you buy a vehicle.

On a positive note, Zach was very pleasant during the entire process and helped me procure a set of floor mats on my initial purchase.
