I have nothing but nice things to say about everyone who participated in my care. Of course their were a few who were not so nice but why let one or two rotten apples spoil the whole bunch. I felt as if the Dr. who seen me treated me the same as he would have his own family. Thank you for your kindness Dr. If I ever need to come back and be seen in an emergency Providence will be my first choice, and wouldn't hesitate recommending to friends and family.

I have been suffering for years in agonizing pain, then I was referred here and it has been the best experience I have ever had in a hospital! Not only do the nurses care but it is made very evident that the doctors also cared for my well being instead of making me feel like I was just another paycheck in their pocket. I really wish we had a providence hospital where we live, the incredible care could almost make a person move just to know the providers care for their patients.

I just want to give a huge shout out to the nurse's on 8th south! My Mom was a patient there for 75 days and a lot to handle but the nurse's took care of her like one of there own! I appreciate all they did for my mom while she was there. Thank you! You guys rock! Kristina

I want to start by saying how amazing all the nursing staff was. They were supportive, kind, and attentive. They are the only reason I'm giving any stars at all. I was raped a year and a half ago and wanted to come in for testing and preventative medicine. I informed every person along the way that I only wanted to do these things and was not in a place to do an exam. The doctor came in and started to act as if we were proceeding with an exam. When I informed her that I, under no circumstances, wanted the exam, and only wanted testing and preventative medication, she started to question whether I was even raped at all, and said that 'if she had been raped she would want the exam and to talk to police' then she literally said "are you sure this was rape" it's taken me this long to be able to write this review because it was so awful. She implied that if I didn't submit to a genital exam that perhaps I wasn't going to be able to get the prevention meds. Can you imagine being violated in this way and then the people you go to for help treat you like this? If it weren't for my support person and those nurses, the emotional damage would've been catastrophic. These doctors (or at least the one assigned to me) need serious training on how to help people who've suffered severe trauma. Whatever pain I endured from this rape was magnified X10 because this woman was so completely uninformed and unable to listen and believe someone who just wanted basic, necessary care after suffering one of the worst things to happen in my life. Anyway, I don't normally write reviews, but this was incredibly messed up and I'd really hate if it happened to anyone else. Just going to reiterate one more time, the nursing staff was great. That doctor really needs to take a note from them when it comes to "doing no harm". Very curious how often this happens.

So I have had to go to many hospitals in my life and this one is by far the best hospital I have ever stayed at. Everyone that I have come across and that helped me here has made my recovery as pleasant as it could have been. They have assembled an AMAZING team here. Even though no one wants to have to go to the hospital, if you do then this is the hospital to go to. The E.R. was quick at taking me in. The technology and knowledge of the staff it on the cutting edge. They have the resources, facilities, and partnerships to be able to help you in a way that is efficient, trustworthy, and honestly at times impressive. The nurses are empowered to be able to help you more then anywhere else i've been. That empowerment and trust that the hospital has given the nursing staff can be seen in their spirit and in how well you are treated. I live about 1.5 hours away from this hospital and there are several big hospitals closer, but none are as good as this one. TLDNR: If you need to go to a hospital for any reason, this is the one I would choose.
