My mom is a resident here. She suffers from dementia and gets agitated and difficult to deal with at times. When she gets agitated, she picks at her undergarment since the staff seem to find it to be too much trouble to put pants on her. I visited her Friday before I went to work and she was almost naked. She was trying to kick off the bed covers. I requested that they please put something on her legs so maybe she would stop picking the undergarment off herself. I told my dad to check on her when he went to give her her supper; she was naked from the waist down and uncovered in the bed. She's also developed pneumonia while she's been there and I'm not sure if they're even still giving her her antibiotics. She's unable to go home due to a fractured pelvis. I wouldn't recommend this place for anybody's loved ones. The staff seems to just wander around the halls not really doing anything. Once I set off the door alarm accidentally after the doors had been locked for the night...no one ever bothered to check it out...I had to hunt down someone to let me out.

My Grandfather stayed at Pruitt Health Neuse after his hip fracture.  The care was great from therapy, nursing, CNAs, and admin.  Everyone was compassionate to him and to my grandma.  What a great experience!

My father had a knee replacement and it got infected.  He went to Pruitt Neuse where he was taken care of so well that the nursing staff are the ones who picked up on the infection, they acted quickly and then dad was well on the way to recovery.  The therapy department is top notch!!  The staff is caring and compassionate.  The admission process was scary because dad never had to go to rehab prior but the Admissions Director fully explained our insurance and how things were going to go.  The Administrator even came in and introduced himself to us and that was great.  He was assigned a case manager when he arrived to rehab and she checked on him daily, to monitor him and make sure that everything was going so well.  I would absolutely recommend anyone to bring their loved one.

My mother was here for several years and the care was terrific.  She enjoyed getting her hair and her nails done each week.  I was happy with her being able to call PH Neuse home.

Do NOT put your loved one in this nursing home!!!! Short staffed, dirty, meds not passed out on time (like hours late),  residents left on toilets, refused help, dirty diapers left on floor for  an entire weekend and so much more!!!!
