Probably super busy lunch place - but we went for dinner and it was very quiet. Good thing, because we were not sure what we wanted to order. A person in line looked at me and laughed but then helped me to order something and the owner helped too. I would say the food was OK, I didn't love it like others did in the reviews. But it was good and not expensive. Thankfully the owner let us know that we didn't need to order a combo for both people because one combo was good enough for both people.
4 stars only for interior ambiance. The outside ambiance was very nice and unique, but the interior was okay. I would suggest improving the interior. The food was authentic Punjabi and of good quality. I would suggest anyone try outdoor seating to make the best use of the visit. Inside is okay if outdoor seating is not available.
Although we remember liking this place once upon a time, the food just fails to impress in the recent times we've been back. The Kadai dishes are not as good as we remember. The prices have also increased by quite a lot. Next time, we should explore other local Indian joints and skip this one.
The vegetable biryani tasted like boiled rice and frozen veggies. My partner's parents were visiting from Delhi for the first time in awhile, and him taking them here was a very embarrassing experience. From other reviews the meat may be better, but the vegetarian dishes were extremely dissapointing.
The lunch special is cheap and they had a good amount of seating both inside and outside. I liked the flavor of the butter chicken and the tikka masala chicken curries. The only bad part is that the chickens were a bit rough and dry. But, the garlic naan and the curry made up for that.
Fresh made Naan, wonderful chicken dishes, excellent basmati rice, channa masala. Best takeout Indian style food I have tried. I hate rating service based on our American ideals, but like someone once told me about "foreign food", don't go to the perfect 5 star restaurants, the service should be below our standards but the food will be a legit 5 at a 3.5-4 star. This was true here at Punjabi Tandoor. Most excellent. I even tried the Raita and loved it too.

One of the worst indian restaurants I've been to. I called to order ahead and when I got there they slopped a buffet style curry on my plate I asked for spicy but that doesn't matter because its basically cafeteria style behind the counter and everything tastes the same.I had to ask for some chicken with the soupy curry. The naan was very old- super chewy and no taste. They also weren't friendly at all. Don't waste your time or money here.
Good food and price. I do wish the take out containers were better. I ended up cutting into the lid with my pocket knife. Very good Naan and Marsala.
Good home food with little fuss. The tandoori rotis are fresh and the curries are simple and on the lighter side. Good for a quick lunch and very reasonably priced!
