Oh my goodness!! What a find!! If you are looking for some vegetarian options there is nothing better than south Indian vegetarian options and this place is no different. Just come and order their THALI - whichever they have. Don't bother going through the menu and trying to figure out what it is. I ordered the THALI and wife went through the menu to order Masala Dosa and Dahi Wada. When I ordered the THALI, the wait staff asked me if I had any allergies and then told me where to find sambal and chutneys. Simple. Everyone of the item was good and trust me, you will be full.  The service - imagine you came to a dhaba. Don't expect some fine dining service. The service matches the food and love of the people that makes it.  The ambience - dhaba ambience. It is clean enough and nice enough.  Highly recommend this place. Eat your heart out. ;-

Oommgggg just amazing!! Reminded me of eating wedding breakfasts back in India. The team of women here are so kind and helpful and effecient!I wish I could eat here everyday. Perfect place for kids too

We had an amazing dinner here. We loved the unlimited quantity of sambhar and chutneys. All chutneys like peanut, cocunut were delicious. Their dosas were great. Their service was very fast. I would recommend anyone to eat south indian food here.

Decent first time experience. Only good thing they got going on is unlimited sambar and chutneys over any other dosa spot but sambar and chutneys weren’t all that compared to san idli.

Service of the lady taking order is super poor ,rude and arrogant..as if she is obliging us by taking order....all was the body language... sorry miss but this is a hospitality service and u need to improve or else all are going to San Idli coffee. Food is  great ie 80/100. Water; they have prefilled open glasses and serve them.  Need more cleanliness.

Hands down the only place I ever go to for South Indian breakfast. They’ve never disappointed me. I love it. They also have an all you can eat buffet on the weekends

We stopped by at this place for the weekend breakfast buffet. After all, humble San Diego did have this edge over it's bigger neighbor to the north LA which has not a single south Indian breakfast buffet place !  Given the good reviews, we were looking forward to guzzling down some traditional south Indian fare. The variety was impressive- idli, vada, pongal, dosa, poori, Rava kesari, chutneys, sambar, tea and traditional coffee. Taste was hit and miss. Idlis and vadas were not the soft, fluffy types we expected. Pooris, dosas and pongal were good though. Sambar and chutney were decent. Coffee served in the traditional steel tumbler and bowl was the highlight. Service wise, we must have been wearing a cloak of invisibility because the lady serving dosas from the tray walked right past us without glancing at us on numerous occasions. After a few rounds of being ignored, decided to walk up and plant myself in front of the hostess to get the dosa. We personally thought the price of sixteen was a tad on the higher side for the average fare and poor service. But it does have have it's USP of being the only south Indian breakfast place in So Cal. So unless you are expecting Chennai/Bangalore quality fare and can ignore service issues, it may work for you.

Authentic south indian food. Tried this place couple of times. Food is good. Their Idlis are the best. I would recommend this place for weekend brunch- they have buffet and you get unlimited dosa, idli and puri with kesari and pongal. They also serve filter coffee and tea along with the buffet, which is pretty great

We usually come here for the thali with dosa - we get 2 thali's with dosa and the dishes are slightly different. They have a weekend buffet but it ends at 11am so go early if you want the buffet. It gets pretty busy around lunchtime on weekend.  Parking lot is pretty small so expect to drive around in search of spot during lunchtime on weekends.  Note: we come for the food - not the service or decor. This is a modern hole in a wall restaurant. Other reviews complain about service but we never had a problem with the service. We usually sit outside because of COVID and order the food at the desk. They will give a number and the thali plates comes out in ~15 minutes.
