"Pura Bean Coffee was founded on the principal of enjoying coffee and life. It all began after several excursions to Costa Rica where we fell in love with the local coffee and lifestyle. We decided it would be fun to make our own coffee back home in Jacksonville, FL. Using our daughter’s popcorn popper we began learning the craft of roasting and creating blends of coffee for friends and family. Our obsession grew to roasting coffee for real in the back of our own shop, where we serve up specialty blends from all over the world and deliver to local retailers in our 1979 Orange VW Bus.Everyone deserves to feel special which is why we select, roast and perfect ridiculously awesome coffee! PuraBean was a great reprieve from the  that came on Florida style. Great coffee, cozy interior,  super friendly staff, and they even had a roasting room!Food: 5/5

Small and unique. Awesome friendly staff. In town visiting and glad I went. Pastry was warm and delish. A savory tomato pesto, and oat milk vanilla latte. Drink was good and tasty, reasonably priced. Love to support small and local! Worth a try!Recommended dishesLocal Coffee Shop

Very cute coffee place with great prices! I had the Kelly which was delicious with two shots of espresso. They had a nice selection of pastries and Cinottis donuts.Food: 5/5

I ordered hot chocolate and there was not chocolate flavor at all. It was literally hot milk not to mention that the service was painfully slow. There were at the river park market in Jacksonville. I three that horrible "hot chocolate" away.Food: 1/5

I can’t believe it took me this long to finally visit Pura Bean. They have some really great flavor combinations that will definitely have me coming back! I really enjoyed my gallete. I had the mixed veggie, toasted sesame & garlic cream ‍ *chef’s kiss* I enjoyed my coffee too! Great place to meet. There’s a nice open space in the back too.
