I give this hotel 5 stars. It was excellent in every way. Everything was clean and the staff was extremely friendly. Hallways clean, room was clean, dining area clean, pool area clean. Day staff and night staff were both nice and helpful. There was NO creepiness about it. Everything was amazing! My husband, daughter, and I stayed there 2 nights, was supposed to be 3 nights but that was due to a family issue NOT related to the hotel. The day shift hotel staff even talked to me about the town we traveled from, very nice guys, and the night shift was a lady, she replaced my trash, toilet paper, and towels when I requested them at a late hour. The bed was super comfy, fridge and microwave in clean and working order. There were some problems on choicehotels website about our reservation but each time I called to make sure my reservation was still on file to this Sycamore location I was told YES my reservation is still there, I called 3 times to be sure and each time I was greeted with a friendly yes!. We had no problems at check in or check out. The price is good, and this hotel was excellent! Don't hesitate! JUST BOOK IT!

Really upset upon arriving at the hotel. I arrived around 10pm on a frigid night. The heater in my room was off and the room temperature felt like it was in the 30s. I was so cold waiting for the heater to slowly do its work I decided to warm up in a hot shower. The water heat was merely 'warm'. I got in anyway but was still uncomfortable. The room took a couple hours to heat up but by then I had fallen asleep under a mountain of blankets. I had intended to do some work on my computer before sleeping, but I couldn't do anything with how cold it was. Breakfast was pretty underwhelming as well. Gross looking "eggs".

I booked a suite with a spa tub. Pool was nice. Water for spa tub was a nice constant hot temperature. Staff was very friendly and down to earth. Only issue i had was that there wasnt anyplace to charge my phone and the alarm clock wasn't trustworthy. Other than that I would go there again.

My stay was enjoyable , until the morning when we went to breakfast and got cereal and was notified by another guest the milk was spoiled , let you mind i had my 3 year old niece that was eating cereal as well and who knows if will get sick. The beds had stains all over sheets and covers as well. It was clean for the most part and the pool was the only thing i really liked. Nice staff to.

They had fresh paint, new carpets, new locks. Very secure! Breakfast was great! Donuts, sausages, eggs, bagels, muffins, fruit, yogurts..... Lots of pillows, very clean! Pool and hot tub great! Work out room upstairs. Only 1 thing I didn't like was water pressure. Very low-couldn't rinse my hair!!
