We are not members but attended an - open to the public event last weekend. Meal was affordable and delicious. The place was clean and the service was great. Great live music after the meal. Very pleasant experience.

I don't recommend using the lodge for receptions or funeral memorials.  We had my fathers memorial here.  We were quoted a flat fee per person ($13) which included renting the hall and food.  Now, as my grandparents were members of this lodge, I understand that the people working your event volunteer.  If you ask them to cook for 50 people and only 25 eat, you are still charged for 50. No problem. What I do not agree with, is instead of being offered to take home the extra food you paid for, the workers box up the food before your eyes and take it home themselves. Next, when paying they recommend you add a tip for the volunteers ($100 was the recommendation). Again no problem, but after they take all the food I paid for without even asking if we wanted it, why should I tip?  It was a 3 hour event and 1.5hrs in, they were rushing to get the food cleaned up.  Also, they didn't bother lighting the sternos to keep the food warm. I do not recommend using this establishment unless you are a member.
