The location is great. It is a little away from the main road. It is a fifteen minute drive from downtown and the attractions near the harbor. Parking wraps around the entire hotel so that was great. The pool is spacious. Nice and approachable staff. Clean rooms, comfortable beds and they always have a tea/coffee station.

Stayed 3 nights for the Newport Jazz festival. Rooms are decent but small. Overall had a great time. The staff are great and work hard to keep you happy. Note that if you are going to Jazz festival the room cost are double. Fri and Sat. 250.00 a night. Sunday went down to 125.00.

Pictures looked much better then the actual acomadations. Breakfast was good pool was good. Poor craftsmanship around the in room jacuzzi tub. There were stains on ceiling above the tub. There was an area in the room the where there was something, but now there is just outlets and a plugged drain. The quality ironically was not up to what I would expect for the price for the stay.

Ehh. They say 4 stars... It's not the worst , and the staff is friendly. But it is far from luxurious in any manner. Very clean but in the middle of what seems to be a mediocre renovation. The pool is also clean but seemed kinda dated. It is within driving distance of all the local attractions in Newport and surrounding areas. And the breakfast provided was excellent. Make your own waffles and fresh fruit alongside the standard continental fare. I wouldn't book here again for a special trip or get away , but if I needed a room in the area for business or just a place to call home base for a couple days , I'd give them another shot for 150$ or less. Any more than that and you'll question what you're paying for.

The staff were wonderful, Latoya helped my husband find the correct channel to watch the race he didn't want to miss. She also made sure he got some of their freshly baked chocolate chip cookies when all they had left were oatmeal. The staff really went above and beyond. I loved the Jacuzzi tub.
