Deluxe cabins are excellent, well maintained, cozy, warm, superb view of the ocean with all the amenities of a small home. Staff is friendly, accommodating. A great takeoff point for some out of this world beach exploring with 3 nearby beach hikes that of timed right with tides will fill your day. Can't miss staying at this lodging. There are also other lodging accommodations that look just as inviting.

Hotel was nicer than expected, mostly in the realm of provided utensils, cooking amenities, and plumbing. It's basically your friend's studio apartment that you're borrowing. The no included WiFi is a bit of a drag, as cell service is spotty, but short stays will handle that fine. The beach is in great shape, as are the hiking trails. At night, the sky is so clear and dark you can make out satellites.

We've been coming here for two generations. I remember when the tap water was so bad you couldn't even brush your teeth! I'm happy for the town that the water is quite good now. And the resort has come a long way too. It is very comfortable here, with good service. We always come for at least three days, because the beaches here are so beautiful and deserve a full day each to explore. You must make sure to visit Second Beach and Rialto Beach, especially. Take a lunch, and check the tide tables. The beaches become difficult at high tide.

My husband and I love this place, especially during winter. Dog friendly, cozy, quiet, and affordable with killer ocean views and beaches to walk aplenty. Bring your own food to prepare since otherwise you have to venture to Forks for most food, and camp chairs to sit by a beachside fire! Fire permits are almost free.

I was married here on First Beach during Beltaine 2014. La Push and Her people, wild landscape, and roaring ocean make up one of my favorite places on Earth. The resort accommodations and staff are wonderful and welcoming and perfect weekend I need solitude. I try to get back as often as possible.
