This is amazing everyone is nice and friendly. It has an amazing view of the ocean and each room does. Is just all around amazing. This is the place to go and it has a great path to the ocean.

Convenient location on the beach, close to shops, dining and activities. Hotel shows its age but the rooms were clean and all face the ocean. On-site dining was well worth it - tasty options and reasonable prices. Indoor pool was a hit with the kids.

Truly excellent staff and service - friendly, cheerful, take pride in their work, and eager to assist. (Thanks, Peggy, for taking such good care of our young children! They loved the extras you shared with us!) Reasonable price. Clean. Food is good. View is great. Rooms are comfotable for both lounging and sleeping. Location is good. My young kids love the pool. Less one star for deferred maintenance (update fitness center, please)

Room was clean, but overall maintenance of the property could be improved. Our heater did not work consistently, one of the closet doors was off track and unable to be opened, the toilet chain was off when we arrived. The staff were responsive to these concerns when we requested their attention. There was a major drainage problem with the balcony over ours, causing water to pour down on ours, rendering it unusable. It seemed clear that basic room checks are not being done for preventative maintenance. Our room should have been offline. There were plenty of empty ones. The whole property felt tired and worn. The restaurant experience was not good. It was nearly empty, which should have been a clue, but it was a weekday evening and not yet the busy season. The food quality was well below the high prices. The BOWL of clam chowder at $7.95 arrived in a tiny cup-like bowl. It tasted good, at least. The chicken on the Caesar salad smelled fishy and gross. The two people in my party who ordered it left the chicken on the plate. The house salad was supposed to have apple, roasted hazelnuts and currants. It came with raisins, a tiny amount of some nut and four tiny slices of apple that barely counted as a garnish. It cost $6.95. We didn't want to complain to the waitress, as these issues were not her fault. However, she did not even acknowledge the fact that neither person ate the chicken. Afraid to ask...? We will be choosing another hotel and restaurant next time.

Best resort in town. Great times and great view. Bar was great and everyone gets a free drink. Best experience in ocean shores
