This location is great with Medical care, but absolutely terrible with their billing. I just found out they billed my son for over $657 in charges (for a hour visit) and his insurance only allows $328. On top of that they made me call the insurance company directly to get a payment and process the claim instead of doing it themselves. I have never had this issue with any other medical facility with Urgent Care services in the past. Yet the manager claims to have 20 years of billing experience. Check your statements and insurance payments! She said she'll mark a claim as denied even if it has not been officially denied, but is just stuck in limbo at the insurance carrier. Which means you could be paying for something the insurance company would have paid anyway!

Qwik Care MD Urgent Care Center STEP 1 STEP 2 I had a hurt knee. Saw they were open late til 8pm is what the website had said. I live downtown.drove and was able to get there by 8pm. Was little upset to drive all the way there in the pain in my knee. And they were closed already. Told the last patient is at 7:30pm. So I came in the next day. The reception staff was great. I was taken back to a exam room very quickly. And got x-rays within minutes. Then the doctor had come in and explained my injuries very clearly and simply.all of the staff was friendly great and seemed very knowledgeable about their jobs and services. Would have given 5stars if they were really open til 8 pm like the website said. When you are hurt or sick and see the time a place is open til. They then do what they can to get there by that time. In hopes of making it in time. To get there by the time that was listed and the door locked was upsetting with the pain I was in. If I had been hurt worse or more urgent than my injury was I would just call 911. Or gone to to hospital for it would have been more of a severe accident. I can confidently say that I know I will be back when I need their services again. And if my injuries we're worse, that they doctors and the staff could definitely handle emergencies as well as doctors at a full hospital. At a fraction of the the time though still. They were all great and I am very grateful for all they did for me. Thank you all so much!

normally very quick and very good doctors. all of the nurses and doctors are awesome, I've never spent more than an hour here. however the most recent time I went the receptionist, Destiny, was rather unpleasant. before allowing me to pay she said she had to double check my insurance was active. never had anyone say that before to me, but whatever. then she tells me that Medicaid came back inactive. I told her that was impossible and that I just got reapproved three months ago. she prints out the paper that says it is inactive and hands it to me rather smugly. I take one look at it. it wasn't even my name and file. she inputs my info again and says, "oh yeah it looks good". apperantly me telling her that I know it was active isn't good enough and she didn't even double check she had the right file before handing me this sheet and announcing rather loudly that I didn't have insurance. she then began talking loudly to the other receptionist about how the fountain location is sending over their patients and how she lied and told them it was an hour and a half wait. the other receptionist didn't seem very receptive to her complaining and wasn't very responsive. she was much more professional. however Destiny is the first person I have encountered that was as unprofessional as she is here, so overall I still give four stars.

The 2 ladies at the front desk are not very friendly. The younger lady wouldn't make eye contact with me while checking me the entire time. Also, they were talking about another interaction they had with a customer in a negative manner in front of other customers. TOTALLY UNPROFESSIONAL!!! These 2 ladies should not be the first point of contact they are not a great look for the business. The rest of the staff was great!
