Out of sight! What a quaint stop. Stop, get warm by the potbelly stove, chat with the locals, buy some fair-trade items, listen to musicians, have a bowl of soup. How can that NOT appeal to you. Very gracious souls. Love their sticker that says rabbit hash can't be smoked or eaten-it's a state of mind.

This is a must-see place for everyone, whether you live around here or are just visiting. The General Store and the surrounding stores provide a unique ambience and historical context for the Northern Kentucky and Greater Cincinnati area. It is rich with kind and generous people, and a superb place to relax and enjoy yourself.

This place is such a treasure, and so rich in history. It's always a treat being able to visit and get a cold drink on a hot day and hang out next to the river. I absolutely recommend coming here for a visit.

If you like odd places, cool history, and friendly people, come to Rabbit Hash. I mean, the place has a dog for a mayor! They have the oldest general store in the country where you can buy a cold drink and sit on the front porch as you drink, chat and make new friends. IF history is your thing...this place was part of a passageway on the underground Railroad. This place is really big with bikers. I have never been to Rabbit Hash at night, but last time we ate at the Scalded Hog. Good pulled pork sandwich! We also did some free wine tasting at the wine shop. It's free, it's fun and perhaps you can get a picture taken with the mayor! ;)

We went here just for the iconic name and history that the store holds. The store itself is very neat and there are all sorts of things for sale. The town has a lot of antique stores, a small winery, and kick-knack shops, there is one place that sells BBQ. The view of the Ohio River is great and we enjoyed the vibe and scenery.
