Raimond's Movers were great for our move from Baltimore to Brookline. To start, their cost was very reasonable and I loved that it was a flat rate so we didn't have to worry about it getting more expensive. The crew they sent was very efficient and packed our fragile items very well. When our items arrived not a single thing was broken. I would certainly use them again, although hopefully we will not need to for a while

I decided to go with Raimond's movers based on my boyfriend's high rating of them (he doesn't give our praise very easily). I've never used movers before, so I did have some reservations about the process. The online portal was a breeze to use, and I liked the fact that I didn't have to pick up the phone to get my move scheduled (I have a weird phobia of talking over the phone). Their portal also has the option to email questions, and their response times are amazingly fast, with complete, thorough information. 

Come move day, I was the second job scheduled for the day, so the movers arrived towards the tail end of the specified arrival window (but still within the window). Understandable, as the day was muggy and rainy, so the previous job might've dragged on longer than expected. My initial quote was for 3 movers, but the crew that showed up was 2, and they gave me a corresponding lower hourly rate. I definitely would not have remembered to check for that, so I appreciated that they took a moment to explain everything to me before starting the move. 

My starting point was a storage unit, so everything was boxed up and stacked neatly already. It took them about 15 minutes to load up the truck. They truly proved their efficiency when they moved everything into my new apartment in ~45 minutes. For the amount of stuff in a studio apartment, that may seem like the norm, but all of this was done by 2 people AND they had to climb 3 flights of stairs (respect!!). They worked so quietly that you wouldn't know someone was moving in. 

The move was as pleasant as moves can get. I definitely recommend Raimond's to anyone who is looking to make their move easier, more efficient, and painless.

By far the best move I have ever had!

I have moved three time in the past two years, and Raimond's was the absolute best one! They made it incredibly easy for me. Not only are the very safe with your items, they are very fast and efficient. The three guys who moved me out of Boston and into NYC were the utmost professional. I went through the apartment once telling them what goes and what stays, and they got it all! 

When I moved into my apartment in NYC, they were very respectful of the other tenants and drivers on the very busy street. 

I will absolutely recommend them to anyone moving in state or out of state.

These guys were awesome! The moved my belongings from a 10x10 storage unit in DC to my home in Massachusetts. They were quick, professional, and efficient. They picked up my items on a Thursday evening and delivered them the next afternoon. 

I like that the same guys who picked up my belongings drove them to Mass and unloaded them. I also like that they did not have to stop at some random distribution center to drop off my stuff for someone else to deliver like some other movers do. It was $2,600 for the one way move which was worth it. I did the move myself (Mass to DC) a couple of years before and in total, it ended up costing me only a little bit less when all was said and done. This was well worth not having to drive a giant truck up the east coast. 

The only thing is that I was not clear on how the payment worked. You pay 10% down when you book, then 40-50% when they pick up the items and the remainder when they drop off the items. If you use a credit card, there is a 3% fee for each transaction. If I had known this in the beginning, I would have planned to have enough cash on hand. However, it was still worth it.
