I HAD to write to say that the movers- Paul, Monel and Jonathan- who helped move Peter's furniture were PHENOMENAL. 

This has been hanging over my head for MONTHS, as Eddie well knows, which has required many visits by Eddie to come do estimates and estimate adjustments.
I have been time and time again blown away by the ease with which I have been able to reach you two in the office, the speed with which you answer all of my questions, and the overall professionalism of your company.
As Eddie knows, we have used you guys for our own personal move (we moved into our new house a year ago this month!) which included moving from Waltham to Hanover with storage for 6 months in between. Because of this first VERY positive experience with Eddie and the 2 crews that did our moves, I don't hesitate to recommend you guys to anyone who asks for a moving company referral.
But, back to these guys who are here working their tails off today....

they called to let me know arrival time, showed up right on schedule, and did EVERYTHING. Total piece of mind from me all day long, which I was not expecting. They are so, so good at their jobs.

Please, forward this email to them or anyone else in the company who should know how amazed and happy I was with today's experience. I am forever grateful that such a long and hard day was so easy, calming and complete, thanks to those three.

We recently used Olympia Moving & Storage for our home renovation project.  We needed them to help pack fragile items and move out all the items in our home, store them for a 6 month period in their Watertown storage facility, and then move everything back in when the renovation was complete. Every aspect of our experience with Olympia was positive.  Our initial sales representative, Eddie, took time to understand our needs, provide an inventory items in our home, and offer suggestions for how to minimize cost by sharing what we would pack and what they would back (we opted for their packing only fragile items).  We found the quote to be reasonable (less than one excellent competitor), although we were looking for quality, not necessarily the lowest price; in addition, the actual charges for the move and storage ultimately were less than the quote, which was a pleasant surprise.  Everyone we interacted at Olympia was as pleasant and professional as the initial representative.  They assigned us a move coordinator, Patrick, who was the person we interacted in planning the details of the move (setting dates, filling out forms, etc.); being assigned one person (over a 6 month period) gave continuity and a personalized touch to the whole process.  In addition, our two moving crews were simply outstanding in every respect: prompt, courteous and professional, hard and fast working (which was very much appreciated as we paid by the hour), and skilled at what they did.  I am happy to report that absolutely nothing was damaged in the whole process!  When moving back in to our newly painted house with newly refinished floors, they carefully protected everything, so that no aspect of the house was damaged either.  This is a wonderful company with employees who take pride in their work.  Based on my experience, I would enthusiastically recommend them to others.

Great service and professionalism from start to finish.  I am a repeat customer and I would look no further than Olympia when considering for either moving or storage (or both).  Good communication, a friendly and professional crew, and they made it very easy to keep track of the paperwork throughout the process.  A+!

Pete and Lucian did an amazing job in our move within the same town. We lived in a 2nd floor unit with a low ceiling in the stairwell down to the ground floor. They took apart our recliner, dining room table, and a large IKEA desk with ease, and loaded almost 50 boxes plus several other items in no time! Putting the desk back together was not an easy task, and Pete worked on it until he had it down!  This is a very professional company who really took care of the things that we had and were just a pleasure to be around on what can be a very stressful day if the moving company is either not competent or not professional and polite. They were all of those things. Thank you, Pete and Lucian!

I recently moved from Washington, DC to Concord, MA. Olympia Moving was recommended by 2 friends and I couldn't have been happier with the choice. The moving team was courteous, efficient, and quick. They did a spectacular job on both ends of the move and everything was delivered safely. The communication and coordination with the office was easy and helpful. I would definitely use Olympia for future moves.

Update: Had to reduce from 5 to 3 Stars. I used Olympia Moving for 3 subsequent local moves in Concord, MA - my mother into her condo; my stuff into storage; my stuff from storage into my new condo. The first two moves went smoothly and efficiently. During the third move, three pieces of teak furniture were broken, a wooden African statue lost its head, and a few glasses broke (which I packed, so this could be on me). I was surprised and disappointed with the rough handling and damage to the furniture, given how careful previous Olympia teams had been with our belongings.
