Upon arrival staff was arguing with another guest that was checking in. 10 minutes after we got to our room, a man with a master key let himself in UNANNOUNCED...and without apology once he noticed the room was occupied. I reported this to the front desk and was told it as "probably" part of the staff. Not very reassuring. We chose this hotel for the water slide. We thought it would be fun for the kiddos (7-19). No where on the website does it say that life vests are prohibited....and the pool is too deep to stand and wait for your little one....it is 9 feet deep. They also require the use of shared helmets to ride the water slide....which is not exactly sanitary. The room was horrid. Every piece of furniture was damaged. The paint didn't match, it was fire-hydrant red, in maroon rooms. The hotel smelled of old stale smoke. The bathroom toilet was leaking puddles all over the floor.

Nice rooms at a good price. We thought the pool area and water was too cold, couldn't stay in for long. It was also not lighted very well, seemed too dark, plus no bathrooms there, which was weird. The slides were cool, but didnt like wearing the helmets, plus they didn't fit the kids right. I could see why you needed to, because the one slide is rather aggressive and even with the helmets, you still hit your head! If they were to change the angle of the yellow slide, they could eliminate the helmets and the weird life guard too. Make the top of the slide easier to see the bottom and if anyone is in the way and Let parents be parents! There is a lot of empty space there, that could be used better,,,, like a hot tube! Or a warming fire since they keep the back door open creating a wind tunnel! There is always something to improve, but we only stayed the because of the pool, so it was disappointing!

I had the most wonderful time at this hotel. I found it extremely comfortable, clean, relaxing, and hospitable. Well worth the price. Oh, and the fact that you respond to what seems like every single comment posted here is above and beyond. I look forward to staying here again.

Loved the pool and breakfast was ok. But they messed up one of our rooms we reserved a handicap room and the lady said we could only have it one night because we booked it online. It was a mess we waited hours for them to clean the handicap room finally gave up waiting and for a normal room.

We stayed 2 nights and upon check in had issues with our cards, the receptionists we're super helpful and understanding, even discounting the room for our trouble! The room was beautiful clean and updated, beds and pillows we're like clouds after our drive. Our biggest reason for staying was the water slides and unfortunately our 2 of ours boys were too small to ride, I wish they had a small slide at the kiddos pool but so not disappointed as they had a pool just for kids that our toddler was happy in. The breakfast was a basic hot continental, fruit yogurt cereals bread waffles eggs sausage, huge selection and for free who can complain! Definitely worth the price wonderful stay!
