My Company was here for an annual meeting.  The staff was warm and accommodating.  The grounds are beautiful.  Our attendees enjoyed the overall experience!  Christie from Cafe G went above and beyond when all our attendees were lined up for check in.  She made trays of cut up cookies and drinks that were offered to everyone in line.  Thank you so much for all you did.

Overall, this place makes nice first impression. However, I found the customer service and amenities really lacking. For example, the shower head was not working properly. It was set at the strongest setting possible, and there was no way to adjust the flow of water. Additionally, the head itself was leaking and "fixed" with a plumber's tape. The water never got above tepid level at most. Another example was the breakfast menu. Even though the card started that menus would be collected so long as they were hung on the doors by 2 am, and even though we hang our card precisely at midnight, the card was never collected. In my opinion, these issues really reflect on the hotel.

The staff is all very friendly and accommodating. The hotel is very nice, but it's starting to feel old and could perhaps benefit from a remodel. The bed and linens were very comfortable and the TV is a good size. But the bathroom felt dated and the toilet wasn't flushing properly, and we had to have maintenance come look at it. And as we were checking out we heard another hotel guest complaining about their toilet. Sounds like there could be plumbing problems. It's a very nice hotel but it's starting to feel a little less luxury then perhaps it once did.

We went to the spa there. It was amazing! With our spa package we got lunch and access to the pool, Jacuzzi, and sauna. It was so wonderful. I had an amazing massage, had lunch by the pool, a few drinks, and a swim. The price was great for everything we had access to.

Resorts know they have you. Overcharge for food and drink. For San Diego they have meager craft beer choices. There is a funk in their rooms. The property is beautiful, the service is great as well. Upon arrival, service sucked. Our room was ready late, around 5:30. We asked why didn't they notify us, no real answer. We could have hung out in downtown San Diego instead of there. I would have expected a free round of drinks. Driving range ball dispenser is old. Pro shop people were great. Granada Cafe people were great. Veranda has great views.

Bottom line I wouldn't come back. My wife was here for a workshop. Next time we'd stay nearby at a more recently renovated hotel.
