We spend our family reunion there and even though the lake was closed off we enjoy the rest of the park. One of the workers name Bill was extremely pleasant and very helpful and friendly to all of us. Thanks Bill. Our new friend.

Nice recreation park. The lake is not overly crowded and is pretty warm all summer. It's man-made, not Sierra fed. Good place for open water swimming.

Love this nice little lake especially on wkdays when it's not so busy. The beach area is very family friendly with clean sand and pebble lined beach so it doesn't hurt little feet. Shade, tables and BBQ's

wonderful vernal pool wildlife. attractive tiny lake, good for kids, no beer parties here, thank goodness. The nuclear power plant next door freaks me out a little, decommissioned or not.
