Calm and serene state park. Amazing views of the Rangeley lake. Visited on the Labor day weekend expecting crowd but there were hardly any people around. The park staff were extremely courteous.

This is a calm and protected place good for family camping. I would have rated 5 star if the place was cleaned up properly. It's the responsibility of the travelers as well to take care of their pet's gifts to this place.

Very nice area, but absolutely nothing up here but the park and the lake. If that's what you're looking for, this is the place. Wish they had some sites with hookups. It's a long drive from home though.

One of Maine's many great state parks. This state park is small, but beautiful, as it lies on a peninsula jutting into Rangely Lake. This park is worth a visit for those who are looking for a nice day trip, or possibly renting a canoe for the afternoon. Quiet, well maintained, and fairly private campsites are also available for anyone who wants an extended stay. The boat landing and swimming areas are exceptional. This park also has an excellent location near other local Rangely attractions like the Height of the Land, restaurants, shops, and so on. Definitely worth a visit.
