Story

Georgia ranks amongst the top states in the country in terms of the number of foreclosures. In addition, the number of short sale listings has recently increased, but measuring the success of those short sales is difficult. We have spent a lot of time assessing and researching the best time to enter the market for short sales and we feel the time is NOW. We are here to accommodate to the needs of those wanting to do a short sale as well as help educate the public about what we have learned.

We have just returned from a Fannie Mae training seminar where we learned that we have access to knowing whether or not any loan is Fannie backed. If a loan is supported by Fannie Mae, we can GENTLY force the servicer into compliance. Fannie Mae views foreclosure as failure, and will actively nudge their servicers to comply with the new laws surrounding short sales. More and more pathways have been put in place that will allow us to effectively navigate the short sale process that did not exist only weeks ago.

We have learned recently that some servicers are recommending that consumers fall behind on their mortgagors in order to qualify for some type of loss mitigation program. The Federal Home Affordable Foreclosure Alternative or HAFA continues to change and ease their guidelines daily. We want to help show you the way.
