Was cleaning out old emails and saw some from when we rented through them. Should have posted this years ago, but now is better than never if it helps someone out. Like the other reviewer said despite never missing a payment and hardly ever bothering them to fix items at the end of your lease they will act like jerks and nickel and dime you every way possible. See below for an excerpt from one of the wonderful email conversations. "Did a walk through of the house and you did a nice job of cleaning but you do not get an A. Have to give you a passing C. Do you want us to send a cleaning lady in or do you want to go back and do a little more on the cleaning?" Give me a break!

Homeowners beware! Nancy does not screen potential tenants for prior tenancy. She will find anyone to rent your home to in order to collect a check and will leave you with her mess. I am currently stuck with squatters in my home and damage to my home from her maintenance guy. These tenants moved in mid 2012 and in the first couple of months paid on time however in 2014 they paid late or did not pay at all. I paid the mortgage on the home automatically. Unfortunately, i hired her because i am very busy taking care of my own family and home. However, mid 2014 I noticed I had not received rental payments for few months; so, I called Nancy and left messages. My attempts to contact her were to no avail and had gone on for a couple of weeks. Finally, I drove to the home thinking it was vacant to my surprise it was not. I called Nancy from my phone but no answer and voicemail so I called her from my husbands phone and she answered. Of course, she said she never received my messages/calls etc .then informed me that the reason for missed payments was that the tenants were always late and made excuses for why they could not pay the rent. The tenants allowed in to the house to find drop cords everywhere and the house was cold. Apparently, her maintenance man added an new circuit in an outdated box (fire code violation) and the furnace circuit tripped because of the electrical problem so he switched the furnace to emergency function (so it ran 24 hours a day) , he added a standard outlet for the washing machine (so the tenants had to use the washer or refrigerator but not both) and did some "repair" to the chimney but the carbon monoxide could not evacuate properly and entered the house (possible death by CO2 poisoning), "repaired" the AC unit to disrepair and so the AC did not run all summer for the tenants she provided them with fans for the summer and heaters for this winter. (Now this is the lady that in her contract states she inspects the property monthly. ) What? she explained to me she does not use AC in her house, so it should not have been a big deal. One would think that if this is a problem your "property manager" would first and foremost contact you about the the problem then secondly, work for an eviction. Not in my case, I wanted to push for an eviction then after a week or two of Nancy's ducking and dodging my calls she emails me a plea to let the tenants stay because they are "willing" to pay $2000 of the $4000 in back rent agreement (mind you-we are days into a new month without the current rental payment) and she says that this is better than having an empty house. WHAT? I finally spoke with the tenants who stated Nancy would not return calls or emails about the repair issues in the home. And, now I did not know who to believe. After speaking to the tenants for the first time in November I hired an electrical and HVAC repair company to inspect and repair all the issues that Nancy's so called tree shade maintenance man had "repaired" (and billed me for) and to the tune of $7000 to avoid killing the tenants by fire, burning my home to the ground or death by CO2. So, you would think most people of common decency would have moved their family out of such conditions. Nope. Not the squatters left me with. After I fired her, now I am left with this headache and it is now February and I will probably have to have there things removed by a sheriff and moving company. Great. I have learned a great lesson become involved, inspect your on property regularly, hire your own repair company, review the application of the tenant for yourself. Well what is the point of a property manager, I might as well do it myself and save $110 a month in management fees.

Good afternoon, I have a serious complaint about Nancy Salazar Homes for Rent, located on 2050 Roswell Road, Roswell, Ga. I recently moved out from one of the homes Nancy Salazar is managing (219 Kigian Trail, Woodstock, GA). At the final walk through Nancy Salazar promised before witness, that will write a check for me on that day, April 29, to return my security deposit of $500 and will send it to my new address, because she found everything ok in the house. Ten days later I received a letter from the company to pay $270 on the top of the security deposit for normal wear and tear and minor cleaning. I wish to specify here that I left the house in good condition, vacuumed and washed everything. I would also mention here that this was the first time when Nancy Salazar visited the house; she never bothered to do a walk through when I moved in. At that time I complained about the house: walls and carpet dirty and she ignored my request to make changes. Now she is denying my request to return my security deposit.
