Story

re-Source Thrift Shop is a non-profit resale store selling clothing, furniture, home goods, sporting goods, children’s items, small appliances and more. We operate by receiving generous donations from the community. Our Shop is run by a group of dedicated Volunteers who make this all possible. We are always looking for Volunteers to help out in many different ways. The money raised from the sale of goods in the store benefits our community by donations made to local Hamilton charities as well as supporting Calvin Christian School in Hamilton.

Very poor customer service, while their items are fine their staff were extremely inappropriate. A lady worker decided it was ok to kiss my infant daughter all the way up the hand to the arm and the cheek. My wife was in such shock she was speechless. The management (who were at the counter talking with the cashier did nothing. When we contacted the administration their response was "we will talk with the management but sometimes our staff just can't help themselves with cute children. No manager ever contacted us and we were never told if the staff was followed up with. The fact that the staff touched my daughter without our consent, that the manager didn't take our concerns into account and the head office were dismissive is why we feel this location is unsafe.

Well organized volunteer-run thrift store with furniture, clothes, and housewares and craft supplies. Lots of glass and crystal.

It's a small thrift store with very helpful and friendly staff. Unfortunately, the majority of the stock that they carry seems to be quite old and battered. Some examples include old furniture, mismatched china and cutlery, old kids toys, and a counter with many small knick knacks. They have very little floor space dedicated to clothing, and I don't think that much of what they have will appeal to the average visitor.

Second hand shop for clothing and home items that is clean and well organized. They have very friendly volunteers operating the store and the proceeds go to local programs for people with disabilities. They run a silent auction often on the finer items.
