If I could give no star I would. Stay away from this location! Purchasing the furniture was a breeze. They were friendly and polite. Once they have your money, if any issues arise they are slow to resolve them and their customer service is absolutely TERRIBLE. I purchased 4 items. My couch and coffee table were delivered. When the other two chairs did not arrive, I called on numerous occasions. I even went in personally to try to figure out what was happening. Every time I got the same response... “we’ll check with the warehouse and give you a call back.” After almost two months of waiting, out of frustration I finally called and cancelled the order. The rep I spoke to mentioned that the transaction would be reversed and that the money would be refunded to my account. After waiting and checking my account for over a week, I decided to call again. Their response, “the refund has been here waiting for you to come in and sign for it.” Seriously? At what point would I have been notified that I had to come in. If I didn’t call AGAIN, I would not have known. When I spoke to the manager about things all I was given was an apology....no compensation...nothing. While you sat on my money (almost a thousand dollars) I had to pay interest and all you can give me is an apology. Seriously? Terrible experience. Find somewhere else to shop.

As others have stated. I have also made a large purchase of a new bedroom set. The bed frame and dresser was delivered with FOOTPRINTS on the package, and after opening it, there were chips out of EVERY piece. I was offered 15% off of a completely ruined bed frame and dresser, or wait an additional week in order to get an exchange. Customer service is terrible here, and delivery does not treat packages with respect. I have asked for a refund on the bed frame and dresser, and will be taking future furniture business elsewhere. EDIT: it's been 3 weeks and I still have not heard a peep from them. Leon's Canada does not give a hoot about their customers. If you buy something from them you better hope it comes in perfect condition because they don't care otherwise.

Terrible customer service. Started with being treated like a criminal after the chip on my credit card didn't work, using the mag stripe worked but then they insisted on refunding the payment and wanted a different form of payment instead. The payment went through fine and was accepted after the prompt on their machine, but 'head office' flagged the transaction as it doesn't allow mag stripe payments, not even if I showed ID. But I can purchase online without issue, in person my card wasn't trusted. Tell me how that makes sense. Of course the person higher up in customer service who was supposed to call me to explain this policy didn't call me back. Bruce I think was his name. Then to pick up my purchase at the dock they wanted my drivers license number to write on the paperwork!!! To pick up a $400 purchase 100 feet away you want to record my DL#, and the lady behind the counter didn't care about my concern. What is wrong with simply showing ID. I did scratch it out after I got my purchase. If not for being a good deal and what we were looking for I would have walked out after they refunded my 'bad' payment. The sales lady was good, it was the customer service end that was the issue. Good thing there are other furniture stores in Hamilton as we won't be back.

Terrible terrible customer service! I have bought many large purchases over the years from Leon's being a loyal customer and satisfied with all my items until last week! I ordered mattress & pillow covers for my new bed and they were filthy dirty! Not only did I wait a week to get these but nobody at the store noticed the dirty packages when they were bagged. Due to home renovations I didn't take these out of the bag or packages until the following week. To my dismay I discovered how nasty they were... so I called the store requested a replacement. They stated I had 72 hours from purchase and couldn't do this suggesting I may have did this myself!!! Well not impressed I asked to speak with a manager while I waited quite sometime again. The individual stated they were too busy but because I was having my new $4500 TV which I just purchased from them and being delivered in a few weeks they would consider this... how awful and disheartening! The following day I went and expressed how unsatisfied I was with my purchase which was well under $100 and why would I even consider damaging something going on my new bed. They didn't care... why would they it was BLACK Friday crazy busy! So I canceled my TV told them they lost a loyal customer. Nothing was said or done to keep me! Not a pleasant feeling... they only want your money! I have never posted anything before about a company but felt it warranted more of my time to share something that could have been easily fixed!!! I plan to let many family and friends know how rude and careless this company is when it comes to customer service! So Long...

Very competitive prices and good delivery service. You couldn’t ask for more. From sales person to customer service and delivery. Everyone is very professional courteous and friendly. Did I mention the two month competitive price protection they offer? Delivery was done to my satisfaction 100%. The boxes and packaging materials were all left downstairs and they only brought refrigerator up. And place it exactly where I wanted it. All the warranty and user guides were given to me as well as the freshness packets for your vegetables and order free compartment of the refrigerator. None of which I even realized came with the fridge. This particular whirlpool refrigerator freezer is the best I have seen in a while. The freezer especially has a two level split drawer that slides easily out-of-the-way of the bottom drawer for a full easy access for larger items. The refrigerator are French doors and display all of your food in the fridge absolutely the best I’ve ever seen. Everything displayed through clear drawers and shelves that are all adjustable in different ways. I appreciate companies that take pride in their work. Customer satisfaction surveys are implemented add taken seriously after delivery, unlike competitors that I will not mention here. Well done. I will be back to purchase appliances from this location in the future.
