Should you wish to share your comments, ideas, and concerns, please be aware of the policies for the North Carolina Real Estate Commission (“NCREC”) Facebook Page as posted in the Info section.

Story

• The NCREC is a state government agency. As such, all communications posted here (whether by a Commission employee or a member of the general public) are public and subject to monitoring and disclosure to third parties.

• The content of all comments is immediately released into the public domain, so do not submit anything you do not wish to be broadcast to the general public.

• Do not post private information such as social security numbers.

• Avoid posting copyrighted or trademarked images or graphics, particularly if you do not own the copyright or trademark.

• The NCREC reserves the right to delete comments that contain abusive, vulgar, offensive, threatening or harassing language, personal attacks, defamatory remarks of any kind, or offensive terms that target specific individuals or groups. Comments are also subject to the policies of Facebook in general.

• The NCREC may delete comments it deems to be off-topic, promotional, political, or advertising.

• Communications made via the Commission’s Facebook Page will in no way constitute a legal notice to the NCREC or any official or employee of the NCREC for any purpose.

• When you comment, you take personal responsibility for your comments, your user name, and information provided.

• The NCREC does not discriminate against any views, but reserves the right to remove comments that do not adhere to these standards.
