The worst experience with Red Lion. Avoid! First the pictures advertising amenities is a lie. The facility is under construction, so everything is closed. The hallways look horrible, the rooms look horrible, broken shower curtains, mold on shower tiles, sawdust everywhere. It looked as though I was in a cheap European motel. Hell, even a motel 6 would have been better than here. The side of town this facility is located on is one to avoid at all costs. Make sure you take anything of value out of your car.  One extra star, because there was running hot water and the pice for the room.

So we bought two rooms off of price line for our daughter's birthday. We specifically bought it for the swimming pool. we get here and check in to find out the whole place is being remodeled. That's OK. So our kids get ready to go swimming and my husband asks the front desk if it is open still. They said no. He asked again thinking they were joking and again was told no. He then told them that the website said the pool was opened and they argued that the website DID say it was closed. And that there are signs posted. I wouldn't purchase crappy rooms under full remodels and no damn pool if that were true. Now we are stuck with a non refundable room. Thanks for ruining my kid's birthday. Never returning back here. Also! No room to even walk down the hallways as cleaning staff has it all blocked off!

This has to be one of the worst hotels that I have ever stayed at. First the entire hotel is under construction. Upon arrival it looked like the hotel was shuttered. The entrance wasn't lit or marked and the parking lot was a mess of construction equipment. Second the staff was very unprofessional. Failed to provide any introduction to the hotel services available or impacted by construction and failed to provide the wifi log in. Third, the room was half completed as in newer carpeting, new vanity in bathroom but the finishing work was not done and I half wondered if it will ever be done. The scariest part of the stay was the room door, the bolt had been replaced and it looked like it was due to a break in. There was a large gap under the door that allowed the super bright hall way light to shine in. The pillows were lumpy like oatmeal and the bed was so worn out. I really didn't feel safe at this location outside the hotel or in it. I was appalled as Red Lions are usually good places to stay, at least in Nevada they are. Lesson learned to never stay in Lakewood again at any of the hotels. Spend the cash and stay downtown or away from I-5 in this location.

The complimentary breakfast was very delicious and full of options!  I had the biscuits and sausage gravy with scrambled eggs and sausage links.  My kiddos loved the pancake maker.  The pool and hot tub were great.  Perfect temp for each!  We had great customer service.

I wouldn't recommend my first floor room as the carpets were a little worn in making me not take off my socks and the shower was well used but still very clean. I'm certainly happy with the place over all and the breakfast selection was great. My bed was super comfortable as well. The mini fridge and microwave came in handy too. Their pet policy is awesome and my cats were comfortable instantly. I would stay here again for sure.
