A nice resort for a quick or long getaway. The 3 pools are nice. My wife and I got one of the rental travel trailers. We were pleasantly surprised by how well it was stocked with nice towels, pots, pans, utensils, 12 cup programmable coffee maker, even a small crock pot. But with how many restaurants are in the immediate area, I doubt we'll do much cooking. The residents and other guests have been very friendly, even though we are young. Overall we are really pleased and enjoying our vacation so far. My only suggestion is if you rent a travel trailer, be sure to know what to expect with one, and you may want to bring your own pillows, but my wife and I do that no matter where we go.

I was visiting a friend at the park. Called the mail lady to inform her I had important mail coming from the government. I had the lot number and the name of the person that the lease was in. The state of Florida informed me today that the RV mail room sent it back. If you have anything you need to recover their that's important don't visit anyone in this park.

We decided to do a one year contract here. We got the shed and concrete to park our rig and car on and we have a great concrete patio. The contractor who did our concrete did a very poor job on it and same goes for the level of construction on the shed, not to mention the shed doors are very short and taller people over 5 foot 8 will get a good injury. The parks amenities are pretty good, a bit dated but they are cleaning up quite a bit. The activities are still directed towards 55+ since this used to be a 55 and over resort. The buildings are very dated, but they are doing new landscaping. There are a lot of trailers built in and not taken care of, so lowers the appearance and we were told they are all grand fathered in. The park floods every rainfall, power outages can occur sporadically and the fire ants are very bad here. They do the mowing around here, they could be on it quicker, the weeds have certainly shot up everywhere, hoping they will maintain the appearance even after snowbirds leave. The office has one outstanding front desk gal who knows a lot more than the person who helped us find our location, which they accidentally double booked, thankfully we got the spot. The cable is always out, comes in for a few weeks and goes out again. The office does not communicate well or at all with people staying in the park in regards to maintenance requests and other very important things like cranes brought in for large tree removal that has taken over 30 days so far. The mail room is not a safe way to receive mail. They put your mail in a wooden slot that every one has access to, and it's accessible even when staff are not present. Getting packages has been a nightmare here. They have a weird USPS address and then a separate one for ups FedEx and such. So makes for getting packages rare. The people who stay at the resort are great. Every one is very friendly for the most part. Watch out tho, snowbirds have no disregard for anyone on the road when they are in golf carts or in their cars haha. Everyone waves and genuinely are great temporary neighbors. This is the best park in Bushnell, but honestly not a great snowbirds or long term spot, nothing to do here other than Wal-Mart and you are a good hike way at least 35 minutes or more from larger cities and at least an hour or two from good beaches. The weather is much cooler this far north and food and gas costs are very high in this area. Try state parks, blm areas and other state identified areas for free boondocking and for very cheap hook up and large lots with fire rings for great fires.

Visited park as prospect for the future. Looks good. Located close to 75 which makes it convenient for snowbirds.
