I stayed in this park twice. I liked it. it's a great Park. If you're into boating or fishing, the park is on a canal that will take you out into the Gulf of Mexico. It has a boat launch. The park is a little more rustic than some people may prefer. It has your standard amenities. Its clean. It has excellent shower and laundry facilities. A nice pool. Park has a playground for kids and a ice cream stand. The parking here can be a little tight on some spots, but not that bad. I would stay here again. I found staff and residents to be very friendly.

This is a nice clean park but I can say we were not extremely satisfied. We have a 34 ft coach and asked for a premium lake spot but when we arrived the space that was given to us and the only one available would not work for our coach. The map shows these particular lots going perpendicular and deep enough. But that was both The case. All the folks around the lake had their trailers parallel to the road. All of these folks had boats, trailers, tents, golf carts all over the place. We went back to the office and they gave us another spot that did work for us. Nice pool This park is full has many full time residents. There is not much room to take a walk and if you do, it's not that far around the park. It does have direct access to the canals if you have a boat which seems to be the attraction at here. The website advertises natural trails and bike trails. Yea, they may be close but not in this park. So, again. Nice clean park, it just wasnt what we thought it would be.

Roadways are tight, and some spots are tight. However we really enjoyed this location. Love the heated pool and the park all together. People are really nice.

Checked in on Dec 1st. Staff has been very helpful as we try to get settled in. The other campers/residents have also given good advice and local info. Looking forward to our 4 month stay. UPDATE-February 1st- All in all a good experience. Environmentaly, since we are so close to the Gulf, the midgies or no-see-ems are a daily battle. My only complaint about the campground is speeding vehicles and the lack of the office to take action. If you have seen the pictures of " flooding" to is lack of run off after a rainstorm not an actual flood.

It's a working/fishing trailer park. Definitely not a resort as they call it.
