Basic, clean room. Friendly staff. Walking distance to restaurants. Easy highway access. Room was somewhat outdated, but worked well for a quick overnight stop on a road trip. I would stay there again.

We traditionally stay at Super 8 in Danville but they were full when we reserved only the red roof inn was open that was close, when we got there Friday night we killed 4 stink bugs in the room and saw many other already dead stink bugs that were not cleaned up. We were patient and we are guys so we let that go a bit. Then my son started to undo the covers on his bed, he found a spot of blood on the sheet, another spot on the covers and then another spot on the bed spread, I immediately called the front desk and they sent the manager to the room. He was very apologetic and offered a discount and he made my son's bed personally and said they’d investigate and offered to move our room. We were tired and didn’t want to move rooms so we stayed while he made the bed. Move to today where of course the manager "forgot" to take the money off the bill, I had to remind them of the incident and the front desk knew about it they just hoped they wouldn’t have to give the discount which is pretty petty. I just find the work by the staff is lazy when covers and found bloody and we see stink bugs are all over and they offer 5% off the total bill??? Congrats on getting a customer that comes to the area yearly not to come back. On a positive note it's next to friendly's where the food is a step above average but not to the level of a normal friendly's.

Had a dreadful stay which started off with the just "lovely" front desk associate who was having off day. Which happens and i understand that but that is not an excuse for the room reeking of smoke and the mildew in the shower around the caulking. I just felt unclean. If id have had time would've stayed somewhere else... Not to mention when we came back from the event we attended the room smelled like marijuana for the remainder of our stay lol. On a good note you could totally sit on the toilet and watch tv! and that's the only positive i got...

Nothing wrong with this hotel. 
Good rate, even better if you have any business with Geisenger. 
Clean, friendly and helpful.

We stay here frequently when visiting Knoebels and never had a problem. Great with pets.
