Overall the hotel is clean and the rooms are renovated and decent size. Bathrooms are clean and water pressure good. It has an indoor pool which is nice for the kids and a small arcade room with some video games. The beds were hard as rock as were the pillows so if that is your preference in mattress firmness you will be in heaven. The staff could be friendlier especially at Front Desk. Overall it is decent place for price paid.

One of my favorite spots. Always courteous and helpful staff. Lots of amenities for a low-budget hotel. Near the highway and a 24 hour diner with good food.

In the middle of my three-night stay this week, a water main ruptured shutting off all water service to the hotel as well as the convenience store / gas station next door. I found that the hotel staff handled the situation very capably; my interactions with them were informative and helpful, and I appreciate that. Furthermore the situation was resolved overnight, so the inconvenience was kept to a minimum. I imagine a lot of folks would grumble and vow to never return. However, I now know this staff can handle whatever unexpected surprises come their way. So I'll make a point to stay here again the next time I'm passing through.

Always fun. Great price too. Staff very, very friendly and helpful. Check out 'The Alvah Stone' for dinner.

It was a hotel. Nothing special, room had a small fridge, microwave and coffee maker, as advertised. TV gets a few channels, no music channels or anything unless you want to pay. It was clean,the staff were nice. The pool was clean and refreshing. Not worth $185 a night, but it was a place to sleep comfortably while enjoying the Berkshires for the weekend. Go during the week for a much better price though.
